Well Jacob has like 3 people to defend him and they can't be on all the time.
Mind you I like Jacob too. He's not a favorite, as he's just too vanilla, but he is likable as long as you skip the romance and try to mentally block FemShep's sex kitten voice.

Jacob's romance is terrible (and almost everyone is in agreement there), and it's what is put in our face as our "replacement Kaidan" so we take our jabs at it. I only hate the way FemShep speaks to Jacob, and I think that's the biggest complaint about Jacob from anyone.

I actually would like to be able to visit more of the other threads without feeling like a trespasser. I'm a huge Garrus fan. I love and adore him, just not romantically. He's awesome in my book, but I just lurk on his thread since there seems to be some unspoken grudge between the fan groups.

I have the same sort of feeling, and because I've been a vocal ME1 love interest fan, I feel like I'd have instant hostility directed towards me in other LI threads, if I posted there.  It really doesn't help, either, when I open a thread and see them bashing Kaidan, or Kaidan's fans.  I get that not everyone is going to love him, or our thread full of shirtless men, but if you have your own wonderful love interest, why not focus on that, instead of attacking other characters?

Just reading Guy Talk 2 atm, I love Jaer's fics, I haven't gone back through the pages I missed since last night but I assume it's been mentioned here already.

We try really hard in the Liara Thread not to attack anyone else. Some us even get onto each other for doing such. We get the random troll from time to time, but we mostly ignore them and they leave. And in that case, it's really a matter of the fans and not the character. The characters all have their redeeming points, if you look for them, setting bias aside. It is better to just focus on your love interest and not be hostile toward the others. Besides, you get two squadmates right...your lover and your best friend. (*mumbles something about stupid ME2 and leaving out Liara/Ashley/Kaidan* You know what I mean though!)

We just bombard the trolls to this thread with shirtless Kaidan pics or occasionally tampon boxes and they don't stay around for long.

We have done our fair amount of bashing on Jacob but that is directed more towards his god awful dialogue and romance more than anything else.

I was howling reading your fic yesterday too Sesh, I was just glad my husband wasn't home at the time so I didn't have to explain what I was laughing at.

Someone else put a booty related fic up on ff.net as well but I'm not sure who the author is.  One of the reviews on it asked exactly where is the booty pic that the fic is based off of

That would be Martiko I think. Got a message from her(?) yesterday about refering to the pic she was inspired by. Love that fic as well. Sadly she (just gonna assume it's she) can't post here yet due to having problems registering a game.
