I'd just be happy with a "Shepard and Kaidan riding off into the sunset to kick ass together" ending.  If people want to imagine that they get married later, that's cool, but they shouldn't force that on those who don't think of marriage as the ultimate happy ending... (like me)

When people do songfics, they generally put the lyrics in italics during key points in the fic. It's tough to pull off, though.

Agreed, and part of the reason I've mostly avoided songfic since it seems like it's a fine line to walk between really good and 'bzuh?'. I've always loved that particular song and it just seems to fit rather well all things considering.

I too won't mind seeing a marriage, besides it being hinted at or tossed in some text box or whatever, I don't recall the last time I saw a marriage as a game ending...if ever. Then again my mind is not fully awake yet While I would love to see it for Kaidan and Shepard, I am not sure they'll follow that route. 
And this is coming from a girl who's unmarried and has little with marriage herself, but for Shepard and Kaidan I would just love it

Afternoon all

I actually don't need to see them get married as long as I know that they will end up together. shep hints at wanting to stop a couple of times in ME2 - once to Grunt & once to Gianna, so I just hope bioware carry through on it. I would be seriously put out though if we got the dreaded textbox ending. That was the only thing I really hated about DAO (well apart form the fact I couldn't kill Anora, lol). Although come to think of it we got text boxes in Jade Empire as well so I wouldn't put it past them.

Heh the only part we'll be able to read is how Shepard and Kaidan had a few happy years before suddenly she disappears and nobody knows why or where she went :innocent:

Shhh Fort, don't give them ideas. god I hope they don't do that but you never know, these are the people who thought endless scanning would be fun, and that giving Jacob dialogue that made him sound like a cheesy 70's pornstar was a good idea and would win him the priiiiize.

Still think jacob was created as an opposite to Kaidan. Since Kaidan got so much hate they figured they would try something completey different for a human male romance. It worked in Kaidan's advantage though

Or it could be something nice like "After the battle against the reapers Kaidan and Shepard decided to leave their service and settle down. Enjoying the family life they felt they had new purpose in life." I would like something that atleast

Haha, Couldn't remember his first name so I put Captain Anderson instead But you know all those famous people and baby names, I wouldn't be surprised ;p

Oooh, CS5. I want that too. Been watching these videos: www.youtube.com/watch, www.youtube.com/watch and it looks absolute amazing. I don't do a lot of photoshopping but those videos makes me want to start.
