Goodmorning, wonderful art as always Winde. Glad to see you posting a Kaidan again, we've been missing you :)

@Joi, loved the fanfic. I don't know why but the idea of a pregnant Shep sits very well with me. She'll be even more fierce and think of all the drama it adds to the story ;)

Morning Jho, hope you're well. Just sticking my head out of writing for a while. Have to go to the shops and get some dog food before my dogs think they will starve to death, lol. And before you ask, I have no fics finished but my muse has decided she wants to work on my reunion rewrite today, so at least I'm making progress.

@Winde - *hugs*  hope you feel better soon and the stress goes away. Thanks for the lovely pic.

I wonder how Kaidan and Miranda will get along, because I'm 99% sure both of them will be in Shepard's squad in ME3 and they seem to have pretty different moral ground. What do you, guys, think our favorite Commander Alenko will say about ME2 suicide crew and with whom he might even become friends?

Hard to say. If you didn't destroy the base, then Miranda doesn't resign from Cerberus right? I could definitely see Kaidan and Miranda at odds then, he's pretty hateful of Cerberus. Garrus and Tali helped Shepard in ME1 as well, so they are probably the most likely to be friends with Kaidan. I can definitely see him disagreeing with what some of the squad mates have done, like Thane, Kasumi, and Mordin. I doubt he'd be too fond of Grunt's violent nature either. But who knows.

You've been a busy writing bee, haven't you? Won't complain :) Doing great here as always, just catching the train of thought that's returning to its station this morning. I had so many shirtless options on the brain last night and yet no dreams...bah!

Will have to get to shopping some later, but that requires for me to shower and get dressed and I'm still in that 'it's the weekend, what's the rush?" kind of mood.

My muse seems to have left as well, can't think of anything for a sekrit Kaidan pic. Though the working out Kaidan for a regular pic could be nice. But it can wait, I need to start filling my non Kaidan album at some point too. Or maybe I need to finally start playing ME again, haven't been in the mood yet, to get some inspiration.

@Jho - I'm sure your muse will return, lol. I need to finish the playthrough of ME that I started too. I left my squad hanging out on the Citadel & haven't been back to retrieve them, lol, got sidetracked with Assassins Creed 2.

Think my Shep and Kaidan are still on the Citadel too, I remember just finishing the scanning of the Keepers last time I played  Muses are odd little things.

I'm getting distracted by playing Settlers7...dunno why I bought it but it's so relaxing to play *chuckles*

Hi silverite, hows it going?

Hard to say how he would react to them. I haven't given it much thought, not up to that fic yet, its still just an outline, lol.  I think he would have trust issues with most of them except for Tali & Garrus, though he may be a bit disapproving of some of Garrus's actions after Shepards death.  He would think that shepard had gone mad once he met Legion, lol.  I can see Shepard having to prepare him for that meeting and step in when it looked like Kaidan would hit him with a biotic attack if he didn't have his guns on him at the time.

@Jho - assassins Creed 2 is anything but relaxing.  I think I must be getting too old to play games because its frustrating the hell out of me, lolPosted Image

I can kind of imagine Kaiden and Thane getting along like a house on fire once Kaiden gets past Thane's past (iyswim? ) Thane is very reserved and dignified, also spiritual. I kind of imagine them being at odds initially, but due to certain key similarities moving beyond that and being good friends (Kaiden needs a male friend) Kaiden would quickly realise that Thane can keep his mouth shut and he would eventually open up to Thane. Both giving the other something they never really had. For Thane a friend, for Kaiden someone he could really open to other than Shepard giving him a real opportunity to talk about his feelings for Shepard with someone he trusts.
And, good morning everyone :D

I also think Miranda would be a good deal more impressed with Kaiden than Kaiden ever would be with Miranda, if you get my drift? I picture her thinking her 'perfect', genetics would get her what she wants and Kaiden making it painfully (but politely) clear that she is definitely NOT his kind of woman....

I think Kaidan will be reserved and uncomfortable on the new Normandy until he sees it operates a lot like the old one. He might fall back into his routine of spending time with Joker and Chakwas while tinkering away at different stations to find his niche. Though he might need time to say it, I think Kaidan will be grateful to Garrus for having Shepard's back when he himself could not. Although I think Kaidan and Garrus will have a bit of a stand off because I can see Garrus having issues with Kaidan's behavior on Horizon.

Jacob and Miranda he will keep an eye on and treat them with distrust most likely, showing a bit of his temper during briefings I would reckon. I don't think he'll get Thane and will disapprove of the assassin because Kaidan seems to have some strong morals.

Of all the people in the ME2 crew I think he'll like Ken and Gabby as well as Samara, I can see her being of interest to him. Zaeed, Jack, Legion he will have issues with though I'm sure both Jack and Legion will intrigue him at the same time.

All in all I think the new crew will give Kaidan a lot to think about and see Shepard in a different light perhaps. He will adjust because that's how he is and focus on the mission but he'll watch both her as his own back...as always.

Now gimme ME3

Has anyone else seen this? (taken from OXM's site)
''BioWare has dropped its clearest hint to date that it will be nudging Mass Effect 3 back towards RPG territory.
In an attempt to address criticism of the original that Mass Effect's shooting was weak, BioWare concentrated on rebuilding the shooting and focused on that.

The end result is a critically acclaimed game (read our Mass Effect 2 review to see why) although it left some fans moaning that it wasn't a RPG, comparing it to "Gears of War with interactive dialogue".

BioWare's Christina Norman promised "richer RPG features" for the third instalment and also acknowledge that no-one liked the mining mini-game, so that will likely change as well.''

Think I've seen it before but it sure is nice to see it again for it made me bounce in my seat, I hope it means more dialogue and detail :wizard:

No thread killing Jen, this gal was finally upstairs to take a shower. Hey it's before noon still... :P

I spent the whole of ME2 thinking ''Give me my RPG back BioWare''! So yeah, great to see RPG features will be be back (and hopefully we will be free of Cerberus' grip........ :innocent:) And super happy that planet scanning will be gone cos I am in me 40's and my poor thumbs can't take it ;)
Great new pic btw, proves that hot is hot whether clothed or nekkid! :D

Indeed, more RPG elements means a better replayability value for me at least. Even with his short role in ME2, Kaidan could have used more attention in his generic dialogue. First time ever in a Bioware game did I feel they were sloppy with dialogue and that's never a good thing since they are the gods of VO's.

And yes, Kaidan is hot in clothes as well..the shirt really makes the pic more Kaidan. Is it odd to be drooling over a pic you created yourself? Cuz I sure am :P

I mostly agree Jho.  I still think he would have trust issues with Ken & Gabby for the same reasons he would have with Jacob - they jumped ship on the Alliance and went to work with Cerberus.  I think too that he would feel a certtain amount of guilt that these people followed Shepard even though they didn't know her while he called her a traitor and walked away from her.

Thane might get disapproval (if he's not off with Kolyat before he dies) , but I think Kaidan would also be hoping that he'd lapse into some of his memory things about Shepard. (I'm obviously not talking about  a Shepard that did the deed with Thane, lol)

I think that he would be wary of pretty much everyone on the crew until they all proved themselves to him.

@Jen - I was lurking but was trying to get some stuff written down while I was stuffing my face with Chinese that I just picked up for dinner, lol
