So, not to bring up a sore subject, but...does anyone have any tips for getting to the bromance path with Jacob? I just recruited Mordin (first squaddie after Zaeed) and would like to get to the spilling drinks on the Citadel end eventually, just to see if I'll like his character any better if he actually talks to me...but it's so hard to tell what lines AREN'T the flirty ones!

I have no experience with that one, after the first time I tried to get to know Jacob and got "that voice" I never went near any "tell me about yourself" conversation again in any game.

I do recall seeing comments that if you talk to him after the loyalty mission you can find out more info on him with Shep using a less creepy line reading.

When you're able to ask about his personal crap (when he mentions fraternization rules), never pick the option "I'm just checking if you're available", or even the middle one. Chose the thrid one (something like "let me know if I'm going too far" - dunno for sure, got subtitles in Polish :x ).

@pyro >Could I have those instructions for the avitar too please?

Thank you.

I am stuck playing Star Trek online right now with my brother and a friend- it takes everyone so long to die - ugh I miss my sniper rifle! Can't wait to get back to the ME universe!

Maybe I can pretend I'm sick......

So, while we're all waiting for profiles to update, who's got something gutterly or otherwise interesting to say about Kaidan?

Why on earth is "It went well." the paragon option for the post Horizon Kaiden speak with Kelly and Joker? That did not qualify as 'well'. Did my FemShep get her some Kaiden lovin'? No! Did she, in fact, manage to hurt the love of her life (until this point)? Yes!

Sigh. A poor excuse for less Kaiden, Bioware. ME3 had better have him shirtless. 'S all I'm sayin'.

The renegade option is weird too, I usually choose it to express my frustration and hurt at the situation, and to me, it's one of the few times in the game where Shepard isn't emotionally a block of wood (not counting romance scenes). Yet, I've seen people interpret it as saying you're done with Kaidan...but the game won't let you say that, or that you can't wait to see him again to work things out. Your only options are romancing someone else or sobbing over a picture frame. Not very mature, Bioware devs!

Yeah. The neutral option is the only one which seems to express Shep's hurt at the way Kaiden has acted. It's te only one that gets sympathy from Joker (wrapped in sarcastic humor, but hey, it's Joker...) Even when you meet Kaiden, the neutral option is the one that attempts to explain the death/coma. The paragon is like 'hey - i didn't want to hurt your feelings.' WTF is up with that?

From the way they explained "cheating" and the "dire consequences" thereof and said that the new LIs are so compelling that they expect everyone to cheat and how they handled the cameo and the romance, I get the impression that there's something they want to do in ME3. They want everyone to experience this bit of story because they're super stoked about it.

At least, that's the impression I get.

Rawwrrr the "didn't want to reopen old wounds" response.

It makes Shep sound like she was planning on breaking up with him before she died. The first time I heard it I was all "What the eff?"

I like that option and don't regard it as renegade.  It seems to sum up my sheps mood perfectly.  Can't remember the exact wording but its something along the lines of  'it seems I lost more than time'.  I never interpret it as a sign that you're done with Kaidan, rather more as frustration at the whole damn mess.Posted Image

Agree with Sesh completely about the "lost more than time" line, once I found that, that's been the option I've always taken. It's suitably bitter and regretful and I never interpreted it as Shep saying she was done with Kaidan.

I'd guess it'd have been something along the lines of "who made me feel the way you do"...although essentially he already said as much the night before.

well I hope it was something slightly more than that.  My problem is that whenever I try to finish that line in my head it just goes in a very gutterly direction, lolPosted Image
