Thanks, all.  I actually made it more of a cliffhanger than it was to begin with because I couldn't leave that door shut.  I'm not sure how naughty I can make it and still keep the second part on the same site, so it may be more steam than shower, if you know what I mean.  But they'll actually have a conversation at some point.  Eventually.  

Some of these Kaidans would be perfect illustrations for my story, particularly some of the looks.  Plus then I would have to have them on-screen while I was writing.  Win-win!

Got a completely unrelated question - Dragon Age: Do you play Awakening first or is it a add on thing. (I just purchased it)

It starts right after Origins finishes pretty much, it is an expansion 

So play Origins and Awakening will be there as long as I loaded it?

On 360? No, it plays as a whole separate game, so when you finish you will have to start a new game and you can have a new Grey Warden (Orlesian) or your Ferelden Warden, all levelled up nicely  
Don't know about on PC though.

I'll be very surprised if no one on here has it on PC, lol, so I'm sure someone will be able to tell you, I would guess install it and pop the disc in when you have finished Origins though 

Good afternoon everyone!

I'm still catching up so I'm not sure if this has already been answered. 

I have the PC version and my son has the 360 version.  They play the same way.  You do have to have Origins on the same system, but you can start a whole new fresh game as an Orlesian Warden or you can continue with one of your Origins wardens.  If you do play as a character from Origins, be sure to bring in a save that doesn't have your Warden wearing DLC armor/weapons.  None of the DLC items come forward in your inventory or on your body. My CIty Elf who ended Origins wearing the Warden Commander armor and wielding Starfang loaded up in her undies with no weapons only to find herself walking into a band of darkspawn!

Hi all! Good God, today has been busy as hell. It's good to have a moment to relax.

Bahahahahaha...right now it's just pictures. 10 years from now when they mysteriously end up on the internet?  Video and photographic evidence is evil.  No matter how funny you think it is right now.

One tip for you since I did this yesterday with the character creater and I notice you have the xbox 360 version of DA:O also. You might want to unregister your copy of DA:O from your games list, since it somehow messes with importing the avatar from the character creater. I tried uploading a character last night, went to bed, woke up, nothing. After unregistering the game, went through almost instantly.

It's inconsistent at best as far as uploading pics go.
 
I've had them go almost instantly at times, other times after an hour and sometimes not even after having left my PC on all night.

I'm a PC user, but just FYI, It took me about three days at least to get my previous avatar uploaded (not the one you're most likely used to seeing, that went through in about an hour). I got this one I'm using now uploaded tonight, it pretty much happened as soon as I saved my game the second time, after changing the pic in the game folder.

I was thinking the same thing while I was pretending to creat a character for DA.  It would have been a lot easier to just make an ME avatar that looks like my Shep.  <_<
