You guys are so talented.  My first time effort at fanfic of any sort (that is nearly finished hurrah) is looking more like an essay, lol

Whats funny is my husband is pale, like can't tan kind of pale. I guess opposites attract!

My adept Shep is an exception to my usual "type" for characters - almost all of them are pale redheads. I was trying for an Asian look for Aki - only got about halfway there IMO, but I liked the result so much that I altered her background to compensate.

I have dark hair but am very pale and don't tan either, it is most irritating!

Can see I'm going to have to have a fanfic reading catchup. I'm like Sesheta, I have one that I managed to finish and put up on ff.net, and then five or six which are sitting in an unfinished state on my computer!

This happens to me too.  That and at night when I can actually talk, most everyone has gone to sleep.  You guys have work lives and you all manage to keep up and I can't balance schoolwork and getting on this forum.  It's frustrating, I wish I was better at it...

The forums are fun, but focus on your school. You'll be much happier in the long run if you do. And we don't mind if you just quote something five pages back so you can comment. Makes it interesting for us!

I play catch up more than you think. I'll go...come back in a couple of hours and have to sift through 4 or 5 pages or that's the way it's felt like for the last couple of days. It seemed last week was much slower. I repeat what others have said as well...I just go with it...look at it as another post to grow the thread.

Lol Isaantia were our Shepards also separated at birth?

Naturally  I have fair skin (much fairer when I'm stuck inside during those long Maine winters than during a California summer) blue-green eyes and hair that darkened from blonde as a girl to light brown in more recent years, and in ME1 I created a couple Shepards that looked like that.  But for Mia, who was the one I planned to carry over, I imagined some Spanish (as in Spain) heritage, so I adjusted her hair, eyes, and skin tone to better fit that.
