@Shenzi, as I said yesterday it is hollow victory if they cheat because they will always know a level playing field would have beaten them.

It would worry me if it was some official Bioware poll, since it's not, it's pretty much meaningless. People will cheat if given the chance and others will respond in the same way etc etc. It's a shame really but hey it's just some random poll, should the outcome really be taken seriously? Will we remember it still next month? OMG <character name> won that Survivor poll? *chuckles*
I will support Kaidan in all polls on the forum *waves her little Kaidan flag*, so what if other chars do better or only do better because someone cheated....I'm interested in seeing how many people take the time to vote for Kaidan and there seems to be a healthy number doing so. This rabid fangirl is happy

Especially since I just got home, cold and am going to take a hot shower. Hmm...I seem to be addicted to them... Back in a bit and hopefully on to creating something Kaidanlicious

It went fine actually, thank you for asking.  When I am at work, I am at work.  Then I came home and played ME for a few hours then I finally crashed.

Was a slow night tonight.  Training is so boring just sitting there waiting for someone to talk so the newbie can practice on the radio.  Couple of noise complaints and suspicious calls that turned out to be mistakes.  It was a good night.

Of course I wasn't able to get back here to you guys since I couldn't have my phone out with the trainee - that would just be wrong.... wouldn't it?

How did I make it the whole night without Kaidan pics to cheer me - Uh and you guys too!!!

I actually just started reading it last night, still working my way through and it I really love it.
But the thing you point out, Shenzi... why do authors put their main character or their favorite 'NPC' character through things like battles, wounds and torture? I do that myself, my favorite characters tend to suffer the most.
Is it because the agony they endured makes the rescue so much sweeter?

Somtimes I wonder if it is just my sadistic side that demands tribute.
