Haha exactly. I'll need all the links again - some of them broke or changed since I got them originally - and Jho's permission, of course... but I'm more than happy to do it.  
Just trying to share the um.... "creative genius".

Morning all Yay new fanfic!



I wanted to write something about Shepard dreaming during the time Cerberus was repairing her, especially near the time they woke her up. The story could be about anything since it is a dream. I am not good at writing fiction but if anyone likes the idea they can run with it.

Milkabi you should try and write about that idea yourself. It would be interesting to see what different ideas people came up with though, on what Shepard might have been "dreaming" about. Knowing this thread it would all involve nekkid Kaidan, lol

Thank you, chapter 4 was a lot of fun to write. 
 
I had at 3 reviewers giving me feedback for several hours yesterday so it's the most polished of the chapters.  I play on revisting 1-3 and tweaking them some over the next few days in between working on the final chapter of the story.

@Milkabi - I had never read a fanfic, let alone written one until a couple of months ago. I don't think I can write very well but I've found it to be strangely addictive, lol. Of the few fics I've written I really only like one of them, but I keep going with them anyway, lol.

I never would have written my first fic without the encouragement of the people in this thread, seems like most of the regulars are writing fic or creating art these days. I cringe when I read my first 2 pieces of fic  I wrote. After I write my next fic which will be the same A/U story but told from Shepard’s PoV if I don’t have any other ideas I’m going to revisit my first 2 fics and see if I can improve them since I've learned a lot about creative writing from the people in this thread since I wrote the first fic.  
Yesterday was a lot of fun, almost everyone was writing fics or working as a reviewers.

Sesheta, I am reading your fanfic now and I enjoy it immensely, you should continue to write, it is very good. I like all the interaction with Joker and kaidan and Jack is priceless,I am starting to cook lunch and if I burn it it will be because i can't stop reading your fic

I loved your Shepard in the reunion fic Sesh, I had to laugh when I read it because my Shepard in the A/U fic from her PoV is going to be pretty bad tempered as well at times after Kaidan’s abduction including a major melt down right when it happens.
I had Joker toss out the line “So for the last month Shepard has been in a perpetually bad mood because of your abduction” in chapter 2 of the A/U fic to buy me some creative license since Shep’s isn’t bad tempered at all except with TIM in JBHTWBA. The first 3 chapters she’s in “commander” mode but that’s just taking care of business.

I'm the same Shenzi, I removed a lot of the old pics I did from the album because there was a lot of stuff wrong with them and they made me cringe as well lol Funny how that works but it's the natural process of improving I think. Not sure, still new to the process

I love how supportive this thread is of new writers and artists and whatnot and I love how writers are inspired by Kaidan pics at times and those making the pics are inspired by their fanfic.
I used to deliver like 3 Kaidan pics a day when I started, now I can do maybe 1 a week. Mostly because the difficulty increases and I love that. Quality over quantity I suppose in my case lol

I don't venture outside the Kaidan thread much, although I do lurk in other fanthreads from time to time. I think this thread just feels like home and I can be as rabid as I want and nobody will mind

I love seeing all the new fics and while they are all different in style and content, I think you all do justice to Kaidan's character. I tend to stop reading when Kaidan just doesn't come across as well..Kaidan. There's stuff out there that may carry a character called Kaidan but I don't recognize him. You guys are wonderful

I can't help myself when it comes to putting Joker in my fics, lol. I find him the easiest one to write. My angry Shep was a bit different from how she normally is I had fun writing her. She doesn't get cranky often but when she does, run.



Shenzi - the only one I like is Booty, which is probably my most stupid one, lol. Poor Kaidan I put him through so much and theres worse to come in my next random stupidity.
