I do too.  I guess I will be replaying ME 1 and ME3 (depending on its story with Kaidan) over and over again.  Hope nobody can tell I am obsessed much.

Yeah, I think Kaidan would definitely have a bit of a problem with Jacob for realizing that Cerberus has done some extremely reprehensible things but working with them anyway.  Oh wait, sound familiar?  Damn you, Bioware, if I ever find out whose brilliant idea it was to force Shepard to work with Cerberus, he or she is getting a solid side-kick to the seat of the pants.

I think some people do (at least of the old crew) know about it - they were flirting after all, and I am sure someone had to notice the looks they gave each other. Then after Virmire, you have the option to say something like "I could never leave you behind." Someone might also listen to Chakwas and Joker talking about it (after Hoirzon for example). There's plenty of possibilities for people to know.

And then - let's not forget the fade to black after the piece of Sovereign crashed into the tower. They are fading out and then to the Council, but I am 100% sure that Kaidan and Shepard would have hugged after surviving it... at the very least. No matter how professional they might be - they love each other.

So there's all my justification!
