That's a lot of Kaidan.

I'm rather amused right now because my husband plopped in Mass Effect and is cursing at his teammates.  Now, keep in mind I get scolded when I call his Miri a stupid ho-bag and tell her to get back into cover.  But just now, he screamed, "Miranda, you stupid b****.  Get your ****** back here!"  At which point I told him he should have stuck with Ashley.  I was informed it was Ashley who had dumped him.  When I asked him how he got that from her email he stared blankly.  Apparently, he was too busy killing things to read his email.

It's funny but for the past few days it seems that every time I peek into this thread before heading for bed, there's something gutter worthy going on. How am I supposed to get some sleep!



Hmm...so...what I'm wondering about when looking at that shot is...what's going on with the pants straps? Still no clue about their purpose...I mean they run past the crotch to the back and then around the thighs? What for? Hmm...okay this should keep me busy for a while lol

I do not understand the straps either. You'd think that guys would find them uncomfortable (for various reasons that I probably shouldn't list here).

They don't even appear to serve a function either. What is up with the straps?

I wondered about those straps before. I like them - I think they look stylish but then again, if you just pull on them a bit... nevermind...

@Sesh: yes but, if I hadn't of been discussing randomitus fics with you, the thought of them would never have occured to me! Listening to We are one from Lion King 2 now. Incidentally, the guy who does Simba's singing is Cam Clarke, Liquid Snake out of MGS1 and the news reporter guy from the elevators in ME1...there's a bit of random VA trivia for everyone and don't ask about the Disney songs...



about the straps, I don't know what they are for either, but I like them, they look good. Maybe they arn't actually straps, it could just be detailing on the uniform...hmm

And I don't get most of the clothing in ME, they have some really odd seams and cut-outs and such all over the place. Odd man-straps on armor aren't even the worst of it.

This is possible...  there doesn't appear to be a zipper on the pants. Maybe it's a flap like folks used to wear during the way-back-when times.

well I can understand that the straps on the shoulders & back being for attaching weapons, but the crotch ones have me stumped, lol. Maybe the guys can strap protectors to their manbaskets when they are caught short without their armour or in the presence of rabid gutterly fangirls.

Yes he is, wouldn't known, I haven't played it yet but I just checked on IMDB! I got the game, hoping to start it once I've finsihed my 'Mass Effecting'. Love his voice in MGS though

I'm amused that Shep has her head tilted ever so slightly.  My theory on the straps is that they allow for rappelling or some such...or maybe they're casualty straps?
