Yeah I won't be rushing to get the Liara dlc or any other LI dlc unless it includes Kaidan. I only got the Kasumi dlc at the teen's insistence but I haven't been bothered to play it yet.



I'm thinking we might start getting some ME3 info in June at E3.

At least Kasumi was an interesting character with a nice backstory.  Zaheed?  We have dismissed this claim.  Or to be more precise, left this claim under an i beam in the middle of a fire despite having an overabundance of paragon points.

I actually didn't get ME until after I played DAO.
I had KOTOR and BG, but I was told ME was a shooter, and I've never been a fan of that type of game.
Guess I owe the male one for the recommendation.
Unfortunately, he loses that point whenever he starts complaining about Kaidan being "whiney."
(Is that how you spell that word?  It looks wrong to me...)

On a slightly stranger note:
One of my Shepards (the crazy one, no less) decided to answer a question I'd been pondering for a while now,
namely "So, what was going through your head when you died?"
I wrote it all down, but sadly ff.net has a 2 day waiting period... by which time I will have reminded myself I'm a horrible writer and deleted the bloody thing.
What was my point?
A character hasn't spoken to me in about 12 years... I missed it.
So, I wanted to thank you guys for the inspiration.  
And who knows, maybe one day I'll post something up where actual people can look at it. 

In the mean time... back to lurker mode!

Felinu, please oh please wait the two days and post it. I would love to read your answer to that question! I didn't start ME until after DA:O, either, and the lack of interaction really bothered me. I kept going and found myself completely hooked. I think getting to play the two back-to-back made it that much more powerful, especially Horizon. [sniff]

This is so me, though ME was my first BW game. I am *not* a shooter player. It's not just that I'm not good at them, it's that I don't like them at all. ME1 drew me in, but I wouldn't have gotten ME2 if it wasn't connected to ME1.

well I don't think we have any more room in our squad at the moment, unless its a new non recruitable character (other than Liara) that has some sort of mission for Shepard.

I still think we might see a very short teaser trailer at E3 (similar to the legion one that came out originally for ME2).  ME3 shouldn't take 2 years to be released either theoretically because Bioware have already got the game mechanics/combat system worked out now and supposedly the story was already planned.  I'm not hopeful but I wouldn't be surprised if it was released next year.

They can't be that worked out.  Kasumi has a terrible habit of standing on Garrus' shoulders and then flying about the rest of the level, I'm chalking it up to her ninja/jedi powers, and today I got shot with a missle by a guys who was firing it from behind head high cover.  Apparently, that barrier was just an illusion.

I assume there probably will be a teaser trailer for ME3 at this E3, and if not then probably sometime in winter.

I get the feeling that the trailer will probably have earth in it and a Reaper/s. Whether it's just going to earth or already blown/blowing up.

God I hope they don't pull off a Halo 3 in this game. There's already the "humans are spechul" thing going on, earth doesn't need to be spechul either.

Excuse me... Squeeeeeee!  It's almost a poem... hell, it is a poem!  It's beautiful.  I decided quite some time ago that I don't do poetry.  And by do it I mean write it... I still love reading it.

From the looks of things, this is how things are going with the story plot. Somehow we're more genetically diverse even thought we been on this rock less time than other species on Earth. Then we are the only other race to be expected on the Council. According to the game, the reapers wanted too make a reaper out of Human, and only Humans who have this special gene code from what I gathered from the testing on the Collector ship.

We're the little white mice of the galaxy.  A maleable genetic code because we skyrocketed in our evolution - social and cultural and technological -- we didn't breed the kinks out of our species before we nuked ourselves.  They've already made humans special.  As long as there's no hidden Mass Effect Relay on Earth or Luna, that's all we need.  

I do want to know if biotics breed true, though.
