God I hope they don't pull off a Halo 3 in this game. There's already the "humans are spechul" thing going on, earth doesn't need to be spechul either.

From the looks of things, this is how things are going with the story plot. Somehow we're more genetically diverse even thought we been on this rock less time than other species on Earth. Then we are the only other race to be expected on the Council. According to the game, the reapers wanted too make a reaper out of Human, and only Humans who have this special gene code from what I gathered from the testing on the Collector ship.

We're the little white mice of the galaxy.  A maleable genetic code because we skyrocketed in our evolution - social and cultural and technological -- we didn't breed the kinks out of our species before we nuked ourselves.  They've already made humans special.  As long as there's no hidden Mass Effect Relay on Earth or Luna, that's all we need.  

I do want to know if biotics breed true, though. 

Funny you call us lab rats since Modin intimated the same thing during his loyalty mission.

Truthfully, I stopped writing because people kept telling me my stories and such were completely unemotional and difficult to read.  Now there's this little voice in my head that reminds me of that whenever I even think about writing.
Apparently, one of my Sheps beat the tar out of it earlier today, though.

I was so disappointed with the level of reactions possible after Virmire. One, I wanted an argument for my actions based on the mission, rather than just "I had to chose". Such as "I had to protect the bomb" or "I had to get as many of us and the Salarian team out as I could". See, that took me 5 seconds to think up.

And then, there's also not that much emotional reaction to the fact that a member of the primary ground team died as well. There's one argument w/the Alliance Virmire survivor in the briefing room, and a bit in follow-up, but not much, and even less with any of the recruited alien squad members. Totally agree - I mean they were both willing to sacrifice their lives and I do think that it has a major impact on someone, especially if they are chosen to survive. And Kaidan isn't someone that would just let it slide. I mean hell, he still thinks about what he's done to Vyrnnus... Vyrnes... the Turian instructor he killed. Having Ash die - I think that that'd cause a great deal of turmoil within him and would need a lot of talking.

Ah well... lets see what ME3 has for us.

hm, good question, i don't think he's leaving himself a way out, he's being brutally honest, evening admitting to going to drinks with someone else. I think he is giving shepard an out if she wants it but i'm not sure if he's giving himself one.

i just meant that he was wanting to be completely honest with shepard, and i was using that as an example. guess i didn't convey my point very clearly though:unsure:
