The Shep in my story depends an awful lot on which one I'm using as a model.  The shower Shep was based on my paragon run so she's faithful to the core and never even considered anyone else.  Then again, why would she when the reward for being true to Kaidan came so quickly?!  ^_^

The one I'm using now is my paragade Shep, a badass with a heart of gold if that isn't too cliche.  She makes tough choices and kicks ass when she has to but she still agonizes over them in private.  She relied a lot on Kaidan as a sounding board and that's what's led her into trouble on the SR-2.  (If you're interested, I just posted Chapter 4.  I had intended to do the whole mission in one chapter but got distracted by character dynamics and never did get around to the "good cop, bad cop" scene.)

I have no idea what I'm going to do with my renegade.  The game turned out so very, very awful that I had to start over with her and try again.  All of my friends were making the Turian "all humans are racist" claims come true.  :crying:  I just can't be mean enough to get the renegade achievement.

I don't even want to try to get the Renegade achievement.  I got the Paragon one and counted myself done.  Meghan's a Paragrade.  She's a little lost at sea, too, without Kaidan as her moral compass, but she's decided she needs to be her own compass.

Catherine is working on the renegade achievement. She, unlike Ella-the-colonist-Shepard has almost no temper to speak of, but she also lacks the compassionate side of the passionate nature, if that sentence makes any sense. I am currently in writing Ella mode though, so am replaying ME as her, and left Catherine stuck round-about Thane's loyalty mission, I think. *shrugs*

And, I gave up on my edits and posted Chapter 5 of Lost for Words. *waves a little flag in relief*

Good to see so many people writing fics at the moment. I just tried to get moving on something I started on this afternoon, but I think my muse has gone on permanent vacation.

Finally got around to playing the Kasumi dlc and my only reaction to it is 'meh'. It didn't excite me at all and was far shorter than I expected. The dress looked ridiculous given the way Shepard moves, lol. And just to add to my mysery I reloaded a save & replayed Horizon - I really hate that planet.

@Sesh:  awww, don't worry.  The muse always comes back eventually, though I know, the waiting in the meantime is simply craptastic.  *hugs*  (p.s. I always like your stuff... your sense of the ridiculous and comic timing is wondrous.)

The only renegade playthrough I ever managed to get through in either ME1 or ME2 was with Sheploo and I really had to force myself through them. I just can't play femShep as a renegade. I've tried but don't get very far before I start feeling rotten and automatically start picking the paragon options, lol.

Yeah I can't do renegade, although I admit that sometimes I will reload a save just to see what the other conversations are for Kaidan (just heard the one where he says "Salute anything you can't eat or kill and then salutes Shepard, I couldn't stop laughing). But I can't make any of my Shepards do what I wouldn't do. You have to get me really angry to make me do something bad, and I am old, it isn't that easy to make me that angry.

That being said I do sometime use the Renegade interupt (Okay only once, but it was for Garrus) in ME2. But I am one of the people that get freaked out if I get renegade points and I didn't do anything renegade.

Ok, I can't punch the reporter as renagade MaleShep, but I can as female. For some reason, the big strong male soldier guy punching the reporter-lady makes me slightly ill, but femShep doing it is perfectly alright. Is weird. And there are a few renegade things I can't ever do, cause they're just too extreme, but usually I can play the ruthless type if it fits the character. Never on the first runthrough though. Then I have to try and be sorta nice and see what happens.

I tried punching that reporter. The Paragon reply is so much better.

@Jho: You're welcome. Glad to help. I think they're both very fond of that wall now. *laughs*

@Sia: Yes, the paragon response is better, but I have done it, to see what happens... not really in character for most of my Shepards, however. (A lot of the renegade stuff isn't, tbh, as my ruthless/renegade sorts of characters are anti-politics, not anti-aliens. *shrugs* Well, the colonist Shep isn't too fond of batarians, but that's a whole other issue.)

I can never really play the ruthless type - I just can't. Even when playing Overlord, I always picked the lesser evil, lol. Making a few steps off the paragon path, at least when I consider it understandable or justifiable I can live with. Then again, I tend to have a slightly twisted sense of justice (at least I've been told so).

And punching the reporter - I know the paragon answer is much better, but it wasn't as satisfying, lol.

Reminds me of Morrowind a bit when trying to persuade the Ordinators to like me... 'I'm watching you scum'... whenever that didn't work, it was a quick brawl and a reload - but boy did that feel good.

Already working on that one..or have been for a few weeks. It's just complicated and I really need to get some high res shots of Shepard in standard issue Cerberus clothes from side angles. But to get some shots I need my ME2 savegames and I can't access them for some reason.

Man I'm cranky, I need more Kaidan.

Snippet of my latest to bump the thread...

Shepard looked taken aback. “I have a grave?” She asked her expression a confused mix of morbid curiosity and revulsion.
“Four at last count.” Kaidan nodded. “Every colony you saved wanted their own bit of commemorative to help with tourism.”
“My grave…graves…are tourist attractions?” She demanded, shocked.
“You have at least as many or more memorials. My personal favorite is the wedding chapel with the singing Saren impersonator."

It's almost finished and if I like it, I'll post it then.

I hope you've finished this because I really need a laugh today.

It's not what I was working on but you said you needed a laugh and I figured I deserved one, too, so I tossed something together at work. It should post on ff soon.

EDIT: or maybe even posted already...

Oh, I dunno... the idea of a singing Saren impersonator struck me as hysterically funny.

But what you just posted was quite all right.  :D

@Jaer Sorry I stole your announcement, but my email told me you'd updated so... had to share the love.

And I wrote you a review, which isn't showing up... wonder if it's being slow, or I somehow failed to submit it? Will have to double-check later.  (Needless to add, based on the aforementioned squee-ing, but I will anyways:  I liked it lots. ^_~)

Kaidan is wondering where everyone is.

Oh, and I left reviews on ff.net for JaerWolfe and Jillyfae, I needed a fan fic fix, thanks!
