Including the steamy bits is only fun if one is good at writing them, which I'm not so much.  Plus, I like keeping them all in one place, so... probably not.  If any of the chapters I write do end up more explicit than I'm currently planning, it'll be on Writer's Block.  (Cause Brij is awesome.)

And I also <3 Garrus, but completely non-romantically.  I think I'm like legbamel, and need some proper lips for kissing.

(scurries out from behind the shadows) challenge fics? like word prompts or something? sounds like a great idea. though my mind has now been reminded of a muppet show sketch where fozzy bear was doing "jokes on any subject" and the word the old guys shouted out was "Amoeba". so if anyones going to take up this challenge idea, in honour of the muppet show, i want a Kaidan fic with something to do with "Amoeba".

The teens actually face palmed when they saw the triple treat and the eldest one told me I had sunk to the depths of moral depravity, lmao, he has no idea.  the ex saw shirtless Kaidan on my desktop at one stage and asked who my latest hunk was, but he hasn't seen the triple treat yet.

Good thinking.  That way it will really warp him. Does no good if he has to go into hypnotherapy to remember WHY he was weirded out by his mother.

Oh, and I so say the first one is about what the heck everyone was doing in the Kodiak during the collector attack.  That should seriously be hilarious.

I like the fic challenge idea! I actually keep a text file where I write down little bits of dialogue/plot as they occur to me so that I don't forget them before I have the chance to incorporate them into an actual story. Some of them might work well as prompts for this kind of thing.

I know this is a couple of pages late... (but honestly, when am I not?)

On the whole Paragon / Renegade thing:

My first two ME characters were pretty much pure paragon.
Although I'm not sure the Soldier counts, since that was the "recommended tutorial character" from the male, and I haven't even bothered to import her into ME2 yet.
My third, I decided was going to be my renegade character, except she didn't like it very much.
She's my adept, and I'm not sure what alignment she ended up, other than somewhat insane.
That's what I get for forcing the issue.  She was still full paragon mind you, but she about half a renegade bar.
The Fourth one was the infiltrator, and she's full Renegade.
She isn't racist (species-ist?), and she's never mean to her crew, but other than that...
She has about as much paragon as the adept had renegade, but she feels more stable, probably because I wasn't forcing anything with her.

I think, in part, I needed a chance to see what the renegade choices actually did, before I felt comfortable with them.
And I loved renegading the interigation in Thane's loyalty mission.  "Shortest interigation in history!"

However, I still haven't tried the "renegadizing" Kaidan thing.  I don't think I will either, I like him just the way he is.

(No, I can't spell, why?)

On a side note: Weirdly, it was the crazy one... I mean the adept... that told me the poem.
Should I be worried about that, you think?

So what are peoples opinions on Kaidan being convinced by his friends (whom I had no idea he had) to flirt/chat up/go out with a doctor on the citadel? Are you angry? Sad? Happy? Confused? All right with it?

Personally I can't blame him, I mean, like he said, he was trying to give himself a life again and to find someone to get close to - connect with - as a way to cope with the Commanders death and have some form of closure. I trust he has forgotten all about her since seeing Shepard again however.

@Felinu: there's nothing to worry about when your characters talk to you in good ways, and that was a good poem, so... I guess I enjoy your crazy adept.

And there are some renegade things I just can't do, regardless of the character... like not giving someone medigel, cause really, how hard is that? How does that ever get in the way of the mission? How is it anything besides being a big dumb meanie? (Why yes, I have little children, why do you ask? Effect my vocabulary, you say? shocking.)

There are also cases where something BW says is renegade or paragon doesn't seem so from the perspective of my character, so I just have to eat the random points...

eta:  @sesh:  I'm all for breaking the fish tank... it's just a ridiculous thing to have on a spaceship, and the fish all die if you don't interrupt your space-flying to go up there after every flight.  I guess that means we're both loony, in the same way?

@Felinu- I agree with what Jilly said. My main Shep is pretty much 100% paragon but sometimes the renegade option seems to me to be the best one for her so I just go with what feels right for the Shep I'm playing.
I've never been able to bring myself to renegadize Kaidan either, somehow it just doesn't seem right to me, and their always youtube anyway, lol

I can't say I'm happy about him going out with someone but it has been two years and I do understand why he would feel the need to start having a life again.  But saying that, I'd pod her in a heartbeat if she contacted him, or he contacted her  while my Shep was around, lol
