How many of us made a non-dark haired Shep just to contrast with Kaidan?

Not me, I tend to give my characters my own haircolour and eyecolour, despite them not looking like me. I have no problems with both Kaidan and Shepard being dark haired. Though I do like the contrast in skin tone between the two of them, well in my case anyway

Edit: Found girl talk. I usually have a character filter on when I look for fanfic on ff.net because there's too many fics of other varieties that I don't want to bother reading.

I thought that my renegade should be much darker.  I gave her black hair in a ponytail.  But the others are all redheads with varying skin tones and green eyes.  I like them to look at least a little like me, too, although my hair's a much darker red than my Sheps usually end up having.  I just wish the character creator screen let you see what your Shep was really going to look like in the game.  I always end up having one element that looks awful from particular angles: bug eyes, pointy cheekbones, lips that stick out a mile, or a man-worthy lantern jaw.  <_<

Ah I just created a new album for the few screens I'll take, figured I shouldn't take up the limited space we have in KAAS. But I'll toss one in there

Heh, no plans for a sekrit just yet. But I did order ME2 for the pc as well to get better shots so I don't have to spend hours going through youtube vids and whatnot to take crappy shots. So it should be slightly easier to get materials. Just no inspiration for a sekrit so far, smexy non sekrit sure, but true sekrit? no.

On a different note, has anybody managed to get the high res screenshot tweak to work for ME1? The screen just flashes a bit and goes back to normal on my end, can't take a shot.

Seriously, though, I romanced him with my female in ME1. I'm still not sure if I should stick to him when I import my female to ME2. I hear romancing Thane is the best possible romance for a FemShep (in an emotional. way). But we'll see

Welcome to the thread!  You'll find that we mingle with Ashley fans quite a bit, so there's no judgement here about being forced to make a choice (unlike SOME sequels) at Virmire.

As for ME2 romances, if I weren't faithful to Kaidan on all my characters (I deleted the game where I had dinner with Kelly, just in case, LOL), I would probably choose Thane out of the three.  I still feel disgruntled at how over-the-top melodramatic his backstory is (and the Carth Syndrome, why???), but he's a cool, mellow guy, and his romance scene is the best of FemShep's choices in ME2, in my humble opinion.

BUT...I'm waiting for Kaidan.  I will have faith that Kaidan's romance will end in a highly satisfying way in ME3...or else I'm going up to Edmonton to have a chat with some developers...

I suppose Thane is the best romance, though I think Garrus fans might disagree. Personally I tried it with my single Shepard and never finished it. Just watched the youtube vids instead. Just not my cup of tea, even though Thane has some very smexy lips

I'm staying loyal to Kaidan on my main Shepard and all future playthroughs. Just can't romance Garrus since he's my Shep's best friend and Jacob doesn't appeal to me for reasons all made clear on these forums. Lonely Shepard for ME2 it is
