While everyone on this thread would be thrilled if the DLC was Kaidan related, the majority of us know better than to get our hopes up.
I myself will be pleasantly surprised if it is Kaidan related but I'm not expecting it to be.
I may know better but I'm still crossing my fingers. Looking forward to each announcement at least is something fun, even if the end result is a let down. Haven't bought the last DLCs
The excitement of maybe getting something Kaidan related makes my ME heart beat a bit faster and it needs that rush every now and then.

I may have restarted a run of my canon Shepard in ME2 last night based only on the slight possibility that the new DLC is something relevant to my interests.
That, and I wanted to have a playthrough where some squadmates die. I'm going to allow Jacob to go in the vents, and will let Miranda do the bubble, since they volunteered so nicely...
So is Samara the only one that can do the bubble without losing anyone? Miranda isn't a viable choice?Sialater wrote...

Miranda won't be the one that dies in the bubble. It'll be one of your team mates like Garrus or Tali.

Oh, I know, I'm not sure who will die to the swarm, but I'm just playing it as if the deaths will be a regular part of gameplay, and it makes sense to let the people who volunteer do the jobs. Also, Miranda's guilt over losing a teammate will be appropriate for when she tells the Illusive Man to shove it at the end of the game.
There are several members of the SR2 I could easily live without, Garrus isn't one of themSialater wrote...

Cool... So long as you weren't expecting Miri to be the one that bites it.
Just don't kill Garrus.

My favorite ME2 squadmates are Miranda, Samara, Jack, and now Kasumi, so I don't want to lose them. I fully expect Garrus and Tali to be important in ME3, so I'm not messing with them either. And I want a cure for Thane, so I wouldn't kill him now, that's just mean!
Zaeed is looking pretty expendable to my paragon Shepard...

I haven't even DL'ed Zaeed. Or Kasumi. I should, though. I want that dress for future possible interactions with Kaidan.

heh, if we get something Kaidan related in a DLC...you bet I'll purchase the Kasumi one while I'm at it...just for the dress. Right now I really don't give a flying *beeeeeeppp*. Nor do I care about yet more armor and weapons or whatever other trinkets they can come up with like sunglasses and new outfits. If I wanted that I would return to a MMO to focus on the shiny stuff.
DLC I would buy in a heartbeat is dialogue related, party banter, extra friendship dialogue, mail, extra dialogue options for NPCs like KAIDAN, Anderson etc etc.

I'm an idiot. Still love it, Shenzi! *shakes head* In my defense, I hadn't had my RDA of caffeine yet.

To resurrect the topic of killing squadmates off, on this playthrough of ME2, I think I'm going to try getting all the upgrades but not doing any loyalty missions and see how it plays out. If I don't get at least the minimum 2 surviving squaddies so that Shepard doesn't die, then I will go back and do a couple loyalty missions as necessary.

If you do the upgrades to the ship but not loyalty then you lose the following I think which gives you more than the min people so Shepard doesn't die.
-person in the vents
-someone in the bubble
-someone in the final fight
