I may have to take a peek.  I understand ff's 60-day limit but I would like to keep them posted somewhere.  I adore The Writer's Block but it's not quite the same as having it linked to my own profile (such as it is).

I posted Chapter 9.  I chickened out on opening Kaidan's message again becuase I wrote my reaction and it utterly threw the fun from the previous chapter out of the window.  I was in a good mood so I went in a completely different direction.

Does anyone else have trouble with fanfic.net eating random (or all) paragraph breaks?  This time it only took out two at the beginning and three at the end but for my last upload it ate every single one and I ended up posting two enormous blocks of text.  Thank heavend people were kind enough to let me know so that I could fix it pretty quickly!

I haven't had any problems so far with ff.net doing that but I've heard other people talk about it.  It could have something to do with the font you use when you upload the document, I run into that with google docs if I use a non standard font / font size.

I originally wasn't going to address a sex scene in the fic because I just can't write them well but Sia convinced me that "fade to black" was acceptable.

Fade-to-black is always acceptable.  If you're not comfortable, for whatever reason, describing the act, then don't.   I can think of a few I've read where I wish they had since what the author wrote wasn't . . . sexy at all.

nah its not too difficult, just requires a few word changes and an extra sentence or 2.  it is random stupidity after all so anything and everything is possible, lol

If scenes like that would be in the Thane romance, it would be all the better for it and my single Shepard would be single no longer. Wonderfully written

For anyone that didn't re-read chapter 4 afterI expanded the middle section, which is following Kaidan around while Shep's in surgery.  I dressed him up like "bad boy Kaidan".   That's the image Shep woke up from surgery too.  Poor Kaidan never had a chance once they got back to her cabin

Thanks!  I had a hell of a time coming up with a prank that I would actually find funny.  I had intended to have it pop up behind Shep while they were chatting but that really lessened the dramatic impact.  She's gotta have a reason to open that message soon because it's driving me crazy!

Afternoon ladies! Dropping in for my Kaidan fix while I had a moment. I hate working on Saturdays Ruins the whole weekend. Anyways, caught up on the fics and they are great as always. I became inspired and began work on a Shenko one myself.

Finally ME2 for the PC arrived...morning delivery my *beep* Sadly though I have no Shepard to import so I'll have to create a default one at first. I hate default Shepard.

I used that site for my ME2 renegade play through.  I didn't pickup ME1 till right before ME2 so I only had my original paragon ready to go for it.

The saved editor is handy if you want to rename your imported Shep or use one of the custom hair meshes.

Okay, I will check it out. KOTOR is probably my next game purchase since I am working on DAO now, finally doing better thanks the Shenzi. 

I have to play Star Trek Online with my brother every Sunday... it's one of my Sunday family obligations after brunch in the morning with mom (yes old woman who's mom lives with her) and since he is in Texas and I am in Washington State it's how we keep in touch.  I always want to bring my ME weapons, it takes so long for the bad guys to die in STO: shoot a strong shot, shoot the fazer ... shoot the fazer.... shoot the fazer...strong shot... aren't you dead yet ...sheesh

you get the idea.

Yeah but it's kotor style, just watch a vid...while the graphics are different, it feels like kotor with all the familiar sounds and bleeps and whatnot hehe Dunno if they will actually make references to kotor...would be cool
