I was the same as everyone else. After the Horizon cutscene, the teens were hassling me for dinner and I told them to rack off because I had to go rescue Kaidan, lol.
Christina Norman has spent too much time on weapons systems if she thinks all it takes to make femShep happy is a dress. what next, some make-up and a blow dryer?

Of course. But only if its a very fancy hairdryer...with special attachments. And Kaidan's picture on it.

My first thought on Horizon was that Kaidan was going to be snatched by the Collectors and then after the whole exchange with him, i though we'd at least get to exchange (emphasis on exhange) email since Casey Hudson had talked about it prior to release and said it in a way that I certainly construed as an exchange of more than one email between the two of you.

So as much as I'd looove to have some resolution of Horizon RIGHT NOW I'm suspecting we'll just get another weapon.  Oooo or a vehicle to jump over vocanos with !  Or a pretty dress!   Ok, I have to be careful now.  I"m starting to feel pouty. Posted Image

Wasn't even what I'd call an exchange of email, all we did was receive one.

We should have at least been able to send back an answer based on a few choices for it.

I'm watching Bones on the second monitor and working on chapter 7 of my anti-Horizon fic, and no I'm not going into what happened after the "fade to black" moment in chapter 6.

For people that weren't on this morning, I posted chapter 6 which is a short romantic interlude, Shep was quite the aggressor.   That's about as close as I'm going to get to an actual sex scene in the fic.

2 chapters of mostly light hearted comedy and now back to an actual serious chapter I think.

And it was a lovely lovely interlude. You set the scene for our in-the-gutter imaginations very nicely.  Posted Image

I couldn't agree more and given Casey's comments, that's what I personally thought we were going to be able to do.  I  squee'd at the opening even with Kaidan in pink armor and then played as fast as I could through the game just waiting to catch up with him again.  Boy was I was mad, sad, frustrated, and PO'd to find out that our Kaidan fix was limited to one measily scene and a single email.

Not to mention some of the lamest, most cringe worthy dialogue ever written by bioware.  It would even make George Lucas cringePosted Image

I dunno, I think the Jacob dialogue was even worse.  At least Shep managed to hold on to her dignity with Kaidan, despite sounding like a complete and utter twit.  :?

Meh, I'm in a good mood at the moment.  I finally got through all the stinking Hammerhead missions.  I hate that thing worse than planet scanningPosted Image

Ok on another totally random note - after a discussion I had with one of the ladies on this thread I want to know peoples thoughts on the subject of Shepards Cerberus rebuild and in particular whether she is "pure" again.  Yes I went there, but purely for research in the interest of fic writingPosted Image

My opinion- No.

Edit: I suppose I should explain my reasoning a little.  I just don't think they would take the time to do that.  What would the purpose be?  And their goal is to rebuild Shepard the way she was before her death, so that's even less reason to change that.

Yes, the writers were definitely drunk or high or both when they came up with the dialogue for Horizon, and JacobPosted Image

How do you mean "pure" ?

Oh! Uhhh ... yeah, n/m. Figured it out.

I would say no. I don't think they'd really bother with that tbh. They wanted her phsyically functional and more importantly they wanted her personality, memories and morals intact.

It could go either way, IMO.

I'd say that yes, her "purity" was restored; anything that is a scar or whatnot was healed, so it's stand that the damage that was done down there would be restored as well. From that, though, it's a matter of if they bothered to take care of it for her so she wouldn't have to worry about it.

I don't think Cerberus would have had any interest in her purity in regards to her rebuild, but I think that whether or not things have uh...regrown is more of how we explain to ourselves, the process of bringing her back to life.  Jacob says she was nothing but a hunk of meat and tubes when he first saw her.  So if I'm thinking about her regeneration as simply an accelerated version of a normal healing process with surgeries to supplement parts that were too badly broken or not healing quickly then I'm thinking, no. No purity.  But if I think of it more as a genetic or stem cell process; that she's a lump of meat and nothing more, then it could have happened because they're regenerating her from her DNA.

*grins*  of course you didn't expect a straight answer out of me, did you. Posted Image

I think you may be getting references confused here.  Mine was from KotOR.

"Is that your idea of an insult?  Come on, sister, take your best shot!"
"Gamorrean pig-man!"
"Oh, ouch!  I think you hurt my man feelings with that one."
"Well, you had it coming."

Good comeback, though :D
