Not to mention some of the lamest, most cringe worthy dialogue ever written by bioware. It would even make George Lucas cringe![]()
Oh, ouch! I think you hurt George Lucas's and Bioware's man feelings with that one
Ok on another totally random note - after a discussion I had with one of the ladies on this thread I want to know peoples thoughts on the subject of Shepards Cerberus rebuild and in particular whether she is "pure" again. Yes I went there, but purely for research in the interest of fic writing
It seems like you and I think alike. In the fic I am working on, my Shep is "pure". I wanted it to be her first time all over again and this time with Kaidan. I am hopelessly romantic.

Me too! I want him to punch her v-card in ME3. My Shep would like that too; her first time was an accident.

Except - ok, at least to me - the whole "first time" thing is also about the fact that you've never done that before, never been that intimate before with anyone. Which would not be the case for Shepard unless you wipe all of her memories of ever being with anyone.
Good point. And we know this isn't the case because she remembers Kaidan perfectly well. So, so glad Bioware didn't stoop so low as to play the amnesia card in ME2. It would have been even worse than what we got.

True. I am most positive that Shep has had other liasons. My thinking comes from that she has been rebuilt. She has a new body. One that has been untouched by any man. Memories may still be there but the sensations will be brand new to her.

This. He can be her first and only with her new body.

You guys come up with some interesting stuff when I get on here drunk. I think it's supposed to be a serious discussion but I can't stop laughing.
Trust me, I'll find a way to make it as hilarious in writing as I can if things go well for ME3.

Where's that "This is relevant to my interests" LOLCat when you need it?
Edit: Here!

Oh god, now I want to find a good Kaidan pic for a "This is relevant to my interests". Any takers?

lmao at the moment. Jho provided me with a youtube clip of a song that Kaidan could be singing in the shower in my r/s fic, given that it now includes amoebae its a really fitting song

Yeah. All one of them.
I think you may be getting references confused here. Mine was from KotOR.
"Is that your idea of an insult? Come on, sister, take your best shot!"
"Gamorrean pig-man!"
"Oh, ouch! I think you hurt my man feelings with that one."
"Well, you had it coming."
Good comeback, though
I knew you were quoting Carth, but I'm currently channeling Alistair so I went with it.

LOL, I can see a well written fan fic dealing with "getting past" the first time, even though she's mentally experienced. Just because you know what's coming doesn't make it any less uncomfortable or possibly unpleasant. That's why there are so many love songs with euphemisms for losing one's virginity.

Was wondering if that was the caseIf you look at the part of Alistair's line that comes right before that, though, it's pretty similar. Which is probably why that worked so well.
Yeah, that's what I remembered. I just heard the Alistair-Morrigan exchange last night so it was still fresh. *Shakes head* Bioware does like to recycle things don't they?
