Hmm, I guess they're the ones with the highest survivability as calculated by the game.  And out of those three, the only one very likely to return as a squadmate is Miranda.  Very interesting...

Does anyone know the font they used for ME2's subtitles? It's different from slider.

Hmm... in 2 of my playthroughs, Miranda died and that even though I did the loyalty mission and what not. Ah well.
As for Kaidan's best location on the ship - I think he could spend some time with Joker in the cockpit to get an overview on the ship. Working with one of his former crew-mates, would probably help him to feel a bit more secure on the new ship, so maybe help Chakwas or Garrus. Depending on who lived through the suicide mission, he could also take a spot down in engineering.
And if (and I don't think it would even be illogical) he was to have a room where he could spend some of his free time or have his separate 'bedroom' - the second observation room? Would give him some peace and quiet, especially if he should have to deal with migraines.

And since I am cross-eyes at the moment, I have no idea how much sense this actually makes.

Are you nuts (no offense)? LoL... no way he's 'sharing' a room!! And yes, that shows was DLC I don't have. Hell, I'd move Kasumi in with Samara or something to have a free room for Kai. Or I get Jacob and Miranda together again, that would leave some space for Kaidan.

I am so trying to get Miranda and Jacob back together in Lost for Words.  Which is slowly becoming a much bigger story than I was expecting.  And Chapter 7 is mostly done, but 6 is still stuck, so I'm not sure when I'll get to update it.  *sighs*

However, I can't imagine sticking Kaidan in the armory.  I vote for up in the CIC where he can talk to Joker, just cause I want more Joker.    (As witnessed by the fact that Joker keeps taking over my fic writing this week.)

Heh... good to see that I am not the only one with Jacob and Miranda. My friends and I used to say 'Two idiots one thought' not that I am calling you an idiot. I suppose we could go with 'Kaidan fanatics' or simply fangirls... or fools. Anyway, that's not the point.
I don't dislike Jacob and I don't hate Miranda (anymore) and I kind wished they would find some happiness by getting back together again. About the bigger story... yeah I hear ya. My original story plan was completely thrown off the cliff and I basically started to develop it while I write it - it's ridiculous.

As for Joker taking over parts of the story - I know that feeling. But then again, I defend my opinion that the Normandy without Joker would be an entire Mass Effect without Shepard. Joker is just great, and I have to agree a bit with Chakwas, he is a consistency that feels really good and natural and encouraging. And enough of my endless babbling...

joker is really funny...:Di want more dialogs of him (I don't want him as a LI) the thing is that i wanted him to tell you with details what happended in those two years...and that he tells me how Kaidan blamed him,(if Kaidan did) or, he tells me that he felt guilty or something like that, or, at least, something about him,,but noooo...he just comments about the new crew members...and flirts with a ship...awesome dialog BW!!<_<
i demand more joker dialogs!!

Do you know what's strange?  I once did Mordin's loyalty quest, upgraded his omni-tool and what not, and sent him back to the ship...

AND HE STILL DIED.  

Thew cres was fine though.  Yay, for getting drunk later with Dr. Chakwas.

I think he would take that as a signal that the relationship is over.  Permanently.  Whether Bioware will have the guts for this considering how much they were pushing us to "cheat" I don't know.

This is exactly what I'm trying to address in my fic right now.  Shep is with Thane for reasons explained at great length.  The whole point is to exaplore what happens between her and Kaidan afterwards.  Of course, I have to get rid of Thane first.    I know what I'm going to do but I'm feeling really bad about it.
