Then again my view on marriage is very biased given the fact that I stopped believing in it when my parents split up when I was 19 but still...at least give us the choice of not doing it and still remaining happily ever after.
It's just....in today's world you REALLY shouldn't force a player to marry the guy if she wants her character to be with him. That's almost like...forcing an atheist to convert into a believer because Ashely believes in God like if Ashely wouldn't accept you if you don't believe. It's not as serious but it's compareable...
Of course it's just a game but since it's roleplaying game...*shrug*
Yeah that's me. My parents divorced when I was 3, and I got to see them move through different relationships my whole life. I think the whole thing is a mess, therefore I'm still not married, I've been with the same man for 10 years, we bought each other rings 4 years ago and tell everyone we're husband and wife, it helps that legally in Canada we are.
But that's marriage to me, telling to each other you'll be there for each other no matter what happens. We've broken up before but we have never ever left the other in the dust, it's always been about mutual support as lovers or friends. Again that's marriage, not a 5000 thousand bill and a white dress.

One day maybe I wouldn't mind a ceremony, but it's going to be low key and private, I just don't understand the need for a huge display.
But again as for the game it would be nice if BioWare gave us many different endings, some may get a wedding, or proposal and some may just get the ship in the sunset thing.. ^_~
