WIth all this fanficing, is anyone doing one about the "collector side of the story." I mean you make all these decisions and they have all these responses. Think about it, you pick a crappy leader to hold the line, the collector are able to divide and conquer, send someone after the crew headed back to the Normandy. You pick someone good and Harbinger's all, "wait, wait...we're getting crushed. send the team chasing the crew and reinforce my assault!"



And........way too tired to be posting.



@Shenzi: I think Tali's Godmommy is the nun from the serial killer episode. I kept expecting her to say, "Keelah Sali," or however you spell it.

I think he would take that as a signal that the relationship is over.  Permanently.  Whether Bioware will have the guts for this considering how much they were pushing us to "cheat" I don't know.

I've got plenty of save games now with the full squad, I might have to head over the dark side just for variety .

Legion happened because I was trying to keep Tali alive.  Well, you can see how well that one worked out <_<

Edit: And I fail at spelling.  Definitely requisition me a solid 10 hours sleep tonight.

Two things:

1. Not Garrus!  I had to restart my paragon because she was too stupid to keep Garrus and Tali alive.  She wouldn't think of sleeping with him but he's her best bud!

2.  Yummy Kaidan!  He looks like he could use a scalp massage...for starters.

I can't promise that Jacob or Zaeed will survive my current run.  But I will probably go back and clone the character's save files, and have a "perfect" run, anyway.  But as long as I get mah man in ME3, I don't care if even the character I dislike the most (not saying who ) comes back.

I was wondering something. Now I don't generally read fan fiction - I don't think it sucks, it's just not usually something I'm particularly interested in. So because I don't, I'm not sure if anyone has done this.

Anyway, has anyone explored a different beginning to ME2? Well I guess it would be an alternate universe type thing. Kind of a what if.

My thoughts are: Cerberus is good at hiding what they're doing but they're not the best and they could make mistakes.

1) What if the Alliance found out that Cerberus was resurrecting Shepard? Would they go rescue her?

2) What if the Alliance found out that Cerberus was pouring all of these resources into a "Project Lazarus" - they don't know what that is but they damn well want to find out, right? So they manage to track down the Lazarus Research Station, send in an infiltration team expecting to find some experimental WMD and instead find an unconcious Shepard.



And this is where my imagination fails me. Supposing the Alliance would rescue Shepard, what then? They're unlikely to give her a new ship considering the way they treated her after she died - you know, brushing all of the Reaper business under the rug, tearing apart whatever she had said about the Reapers, splitting up her crew. What would Shepard do? She still wants to stop the Reapers. Would she still end up (reluctantly) working with Cerberus? I don't see either the Alliance or the Council being willing to help her at all.

Insert Kaidan wherever appropriate. And I mean insert him into these scenarios wherever appropriate - I know how some of you think!

Oooh, you evil thing.  Here I thougth I was going to burn the fanfic bug out of my system with the one I'm wiriting now.  I've got a whole pile of new ideas, thanks to you.

I hate plot railroading and I REALLY hated being forced to work for Cerberus. So I was trying to think of ways where Shepard could start out with the Alliance. But then I realized that if you take into account the way the Alliance and the Council acted after Shepard died then she would be kind of stuck with no allies at all pretty much. But if you have the Alliance and the Council supporting Shepard then it's pretty much ME1 all over again - even though the Council was never really all that supportive to begin with.

But I fail at creative writing hence my inability to keep the idea going.

I've already got a title: Under Cover.  And Shep ain't the double agent.    I'm never gonna get out of bed with Thane at this rate!  Erm, I mean, Shep won't because I can't get get a hook on the start of Chapter 13.
