NN all. I was thoroughly engrossed in fanfic writing tonight. Chapter has come along nicely tonight though.

Because I only got 5 hours of sleep last night, I am going to zonk for however long my body lets me tonight. With luck, I will be able to get my fanvid edited to my satisfaction before microbio class tomorrow morning. Good night and sweet Kai-Kai dreams to all.

Thread looks quiet until the next shift comes on but I just wanted to say hi. Wednesdays are my loooong day at work (10 am - 8 pm) with no computer.



Anyways, I'm going to go into lurk mode to work on a fic and catch up with the thread. Wow -- looks like about 15 pages since this morning!

Where should Kaidan be stationed, why not right in the CIC, you know where Pressley used to stand.  This way Shepard can keep her eye on him.  Yes, I'd like that.

Afternoon all, can't get into any of my fics at the moment so have been playing kotor2. I still say Kaidan needs somewhere that doesn't get a lot of traffic, for privacy.

Hey Sesh - How's KoTOR2 so far?  I downloaded the restoration mod and started to play but didn't get far; went back to Kaidan and Alistair.   Right now am working on our joint venture although I suspect I won't last much longer -- day was waaaay too long workwise and I'm beat.

Hey Star, haven't got very far into Kotor2 yet. I have to get through Paragus and Telos before I can get into that game. Those 2 places bore the hell out of me. Haven't run into anything too different yet except for more lines added to conversation and explanations of things. I've been having trouble focussing on anything for more than short bursts all week, so hopefully it will improve soon, lol.

I didn't make it through Peragus because like you, I'm bored get bored to tears.  So I'm awaiting your assessment of whether the game is worth it.  Besides, for some reason the restoration mod wants to change my monitor settings which is irritating.

i've been trying to play Kotor2 with the resto mod.then my game crashed and  i can't seem to load it up again (damn vista). it's alright, but if you hate HK-50s, you'll probably hate the mod because there's alot more of them now it seems.

@stephee - nothing wrong with creating a monster, especially if it spreads more Kaidan love, lol. I think I've created my own monster with random stupidity. All the fics I'm currently trying to write seem to be getting tainted with it now, lmao



anyway I think I'll head up to the supermarket and try to work out what to cook for dinner tonight. I'll catch up with everyone soon.

I'm going to throw in my two cents of where to find Commander Alenko. The little hallway leading to the drivecore in Engineering. I know Tali leads you partway down it to have 'private chats'... but I could just picture him standing and the end, staring at the core, pondering his place in Shep's life. Picturesque, no? Or there is always the rarely used comm/briefing room. It has a door... and most likely a lock, for the private debriefings...
Ooh... I smell oneshot needing to written... that comm table... and accidentally holograming to TIM... hehehe

Oh yes the briefing room would be good, though I think the Commander's office is the best place for him. Shepard could go there when she needs him (like all the time)!

So, my son went to the doc's and has been diagnosed Bi-polar! Which explains a lot, he has been saying for a while that he thinks he must be. It has been a pretty rough week, the mugging brought things to a head for him. He is not going down the route of medication because he thinks it will interfere with his creativity (he writes, a lot)

So if you could update me (save me reading through again) on what is going on, I'd be very glad. I don't know if I can bring myself to use my MS points on armour and more stupid helmets and feel quite disappointed that we were built up for 'exciting', DLC that is just armour that was free anyway in the (Dr Pepper?) promo!

Hmm..should Kaidan return as a squadmate, will he take Miranda's place as second in command? I mean it's no longer a Cerberus vessel and Shepard never had a say in it all. Because if he takes Miranda's place, he can have her office as well perhaps? Hmm..no...can't see Kaidan in an office.

I'll take some screenshots of the suggested locations and see where he 'fits'

I can't imagine Miranda would be very willing to give up her office. Lol. Look how comfy that place looks!

Other than a bunch of lamentation over the crappy DLC, not much has really gone on.

Jho posted a new picture at DA of Ash/Liara. It was quite lovely (and I maybe forgot to tell her that. Sorry Jho!)

Jilly and Shenzi both posted new things over at FF.net, and Jilly also posted a sweet little blurb of her story on DA (due to the more intimate nature). I can try to dig up links if you need them.

Sorry to hear things have been rough lately, but hopefully now that you and your son know what's going on, it'll be easier to manage (but the no medicine route will make it difficult - or at least that was my experience with a good friend who suffered from that when we were in high school). My best thoughts for you though. *hugs*

Fort finished her run though and only 4 survived...tali & Garrus didn't and there was some dicussion about that.



Fort also thinks all competative love interests should die on the suicide mission- we should come to " the dark side, they have biotc cookies."

Evening all, finally off Peragas, just have to get through Telos & then I can start getting into kotor2.  I will admit to actually squeeing when I saw the holo of Carth on the republic ship that docked on Peragus, though.  I really need to get a life
Can't get into fic today, so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to whack out a few pages. I have cake & chocolate to tempt my muse so hopefully she takes the bait, lol.
