Morning everyone! Just reading some fics - for Cinco d Mayo (sp?) it's been slow tonight thank goodness since it a heavy drinking holiday. It's the 6th now so should be finished.

I'm gonna be very, very sad.  There seems to be hints that her Shepard may be moving on to Garrus, and I feel like begging an author not to take a fic in a certain direction is rude...but considering the already established history for Shepard and Kaidan in Iunctio, it would be awfully sad.  I'll still read it, but I'll be all the whole time.

Given the history in Iunctio I'm not expecting her to wind up with Garrus, I'd be very disappointed if she did.

Pfftt...in the puzzle stage of a new Shenko pic, but what a bloody complicated puzzle it's turning out to be. HAVE to make this work though, it's the Kaidan takes charge/wall pic.

Will be so happy when this is done, eventually, so I can move on. It's been sitting in its map for weeks on end now. Argh *pulls out hair*

Hi everyone! Just got caught up on the thread.



I can't see Kaidan with either Ashley or Liara, even if Shep weren't around. He strikes me as someone who's used to being on his own and is happy that way. I think he and Ash are too sufferer to be romantically interesed in each other, and he and Liara are too similar.



In ME3, I could see him hanging near the medbay, close to Dr Chakwas. I like to think they were quite close (though not in the way Fort described in her fic so I think he'd find it very reassuring to be around her, a good reminder of the days on the SR-1. Plus, he has medical training and if he gets a migraine, he won't have far to go!



I could see him on the CIC too, or near the bridge with Joker, off and on (I'd live to see them interact in ME3). I like the observatory idea a lot too, a calm place perfect for quiet introspection.

Common reasoning when someone is faced with that decision for the first time. How old is your son? If he is of the Penny Arcade demographic (which is like... 14 to 45), he might be interested in watching this Penny Arcade video that touches specifically on the decision of medication versus creativity.

I think most people do find a momentary loss of creativity, though. Most will gain it back, sometimes drawing from a new source of inspiration. But some don't.

Know some people who wouldn't take medication or therapy because they'd been crazy so long (their words, not mine), all that they have perceived in life has been defined by that particular mental state. To change it means the person they are won't exist anymore.
