Okay one CS5 related note...I friggin love Puppet Warp already.

Hmm the mod gave me two Alliance wear uniforms..one lighter ME1 style and a darker style..is that just some fan alteration or is that the ME2 Alliance uniform? Haven't seen a marine on the Citadel yet in ME2.

Yes, you have.   Zakera Ward right by customs with the drill sergeant yelling at them about Sir Isaac Newton being the deadliest M-F in the galaxy.  They were in full Stormtrooper armor, though.

and totally OT I know but just noticed there is new dlc coming for DAO - I won't be getting it though. Basically its a what if type scenario where your warden dies at the joining and you play as a darkspawn and have to kill the wardens (Alistair! *nooooooo*) at the Denerim battle. I actually had to think about whether this was a hoax or not, but we are way too far past April Fools Day, lol

Uh, yeah, not even going to bother.  I'd rather get more useless armor with non-removable helmets for Shepard.  Is it my imagination or are they trying to drum up sympathy for the Darkspawn?

Okay, I need check that *opening new tab* Wow, it true. Kind of a funny idea, but I don't think I will get it. I can't kill Alistair. And my grey warden is the Shepard of Dragon Age she doesn't die in the joining...okay, Shepard died once, but still.

I'm really scratching my head at this dlc and others that have come out.



Honestly, it is a brilliant marketing move, though. Lots of people will say, "oh, it's only $2 or $5... might as well get it". All those small amounts add up when they keep releasing little somethings every few weeks.



None of it appeals to me, though.

Don't know what they are thinking with that. Really I don't. I'm through with DA for a loooonnggg time to come, seems every step they make is a turn for the worse. For me anyway.

I had a strongly worded reaction to hearing this news...  I guess they're not interested in being the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate 2 anymore, and instead they're just going to spit out mindless hack and slash modules until they're ready for DA2.  I'll vote with my wallet, and at this point I'm not interested in pre-ordering any Bioware game in the future, not unless they start proving that they actually care about making roleplaying games again.  It's really sad that they've gone in this direction.

What I really would wish for when it comes to DLC is what has been metioned both before the release of ME1 and ME2. DLC bridging the gap between the two. I'm sure there was talk about such a DLC when ME was released. And I pretty sure it has been metioned around the ME2 release. I just hope the rumors about DLC that take place between ME2 and ME3 are truer than those about the Me1-ME2 DLC.

I feel the same way. I'm still holding out a small bit of hope for ME, though, but I'm filled with skepticism.

Same here.  I got Awakening and really wish I hadn't.  I haven't touched it but maybe twice.

Same here...my faith in BW is taking hit after hit as time passes and seems to strongly rely on past awesomeness now. How long before that fades though?

UGH!  I just watched the trailer in your link. I am sooo not going there. No way can or will I kill Alistair for one thing.  Even in my Loghain playthrough I managed to keep Alistair alive (married him off to Anora. He was mad at me but at least he lived and didn't go off as a drunk.)

I'm getting pretty disgusted myself. Haven't felt this way since the last time Obsidian cocked up a game (and I won't buy their products anymore.)

Ok, back to Kaidan.  At least we have good fics and Jho's pictures!

and now that I've been the harbinger of bad tidings, where DAO is concerned anyway, I think I will slink back to kotor2

Yeah they also gave us Alistair & Carth as well as Kaidan, then took them all away.  that dlc has really dampened my mood this morning,
