Good morning Jo Posted Image

Well, it wouldn't surprise me either, which is why I have already planned for that eventuality.

Off to see if I can't snag a couple more achievements in DA:O

G'day everyone...
I missed a lot of interesting discussions again it seems... ah well. It's rainy and I have some writing to do, but I'll have time to stop by and have a look.

As for the Thane discussion, I still think that Mordin is our best option. I mean the Collectors plague in the Omega-area was 'cured' in a few days after it started, he 'countermeasured' the seeker swarms, and in his free time is trying to find a cure for Joker - while he, on a sidenote, modified the genophage. I don't know but if anyone can find a cure for errhm... how was it spelled... Kepral's Syndrome(?) it is Mordin Solus.

@Joi: Good thing I don't cry easily... it was lovely!! *hides tissues*

*edit*
Then the thing about the new Da:O DLC... it might be an interesting new concept but I won't play it. Bad enough my Alistiar died once before, no way I'll try to take him out as a Darkspawn. I think that would have been a DLC for a later time - you know a new concept after the old has been puffed up with more story/quest/romance DLC. */edit*

Ladies, behold my first attempt at fanvidding. Now that I have Fraps I may have to break out DA:O and make the fanvid I wanted to make for Alistair/Warden.

Morning, y'all.

That was lovely, Jo!

Y'all are not going to believe this. We got rear ended on the way home last night. My back hurts so much right now, I'm high on Vicodin. Needless to say I stayed home. I don't know how long I can be at the computer today.

This is after causing my own accident in March. Ugh.

Damn, sorry to hear that. I hope you didn't get any serious injuries and that you feel better soon. It also seems you are experiencing a run of bad luck. Usually that's my job - just send it over my way and that should help you feel better soon.
I was wondering where my bad luck went... especially after I broke the same toe twice within 4 weeks in March.
But stupid jokes aside, get all the rest you need, get the shock out of the system and I hope you feel better in no time.

It just irritated already existing injuries.  If I hadn't been screwed up before this, I'd have had no injuries at all.

Need Kaidan with his medical skills to come take care of me.:wub:

I'm sorry Sia, if I had the ability to do so, Kaidan would already be there taking care of you Posted Image.

I hope after a few days your back settles down, are you seeing a doctor today or giving it a few days first?

Can't get in till Monday, so I live off the drugs the ER doc gave me.  Can't sit at the computer too long, either, so I'll be terribly far behind on Monday.

On the plus side, I have nothing to do but write and I can still hold a pen. ;)

For some reason, many people I know have had more than one car accident in a short span of time, it's like a bad luck magnet or something...hope you feel better soon!

If it helps any, I'm in the middle of The Rescue now, and I'm loving it.  The story illustrates the hardest part of DA to me, choosing between Zevran and Alistair.  They're very different, but awesome in their own ways, and how can I give one up???  I feel like I need to go play both my human noble female and elf mage female right now to reassure both of them, LOL.

Heh... for some reason I never had any difficulties to decide. My female PCs always pick Alistair. I had one male character that had a thing with Morrigan but I didn't convince me - so by now my male characters enjoy their time with Zev and tada - everyone is happy.
I just can't help it... I love Alistair, no matter if he is a bit foolish and sometimes a bit childish, I just think he is absolutely adorable and I could never hurt or betray him.

@Sia: No need to fire your little guardian. I was wondering where my little bad-luck-demon went, now I know. I'll have a serious discussion with that insatiable fool.

Going through ME2 rather rapidly now to get to Horizon asap. Never thought I would look forward to Horizon so much, just to shove a cam in kaidan's face and take snapshots. "Hey kaidan *click*, long time no see *click*, how you doin'? *click, click, click*" :P

I could have given you a savegame :)
For some reason, reading the ff makes it easier for me to actually play ME2 again. While I play through the story, my mind fills in the empty voids with bits and pieces of different ff. Also, it helps me to get that desperate/angry feeling I need for my own ff. Strange how things change if you have a creative backup, heh.

I found a bug that somehow let me have both.  It was bizarre.  Or perhaps, I just did the right things in order and screwed it up on my Cousland game so that she was friendzoned by our lascivious elf. ;)

I'm glad you like it!  It makes me feel good to see other people enjoying that.  It came out of a nightmare that wouldn't let me go.

And just so I'm still somewhat on topic:

I haven't played  ME2 in a few weeks, besides loading up misc saved games for frapsing as reference material.

I've been spending the time I normally would be gaming either writing or reading fics, and I'm not even a writer.  It's just been more enjoyable spending time reading those fics where people write about what should have happened in ME2 and beyond rather than accept Bioware's crappy writing.

Yeah, Ki... you can have him back.  I'm Irish and he screwed up St. Patrick's Day for me.  And now Mother's Day and my hubby's birthday.

Can I have a Kaidan hug?

Thanks Jenova!

And now, back to laying on the couch, saving the galaxy.

Got a question... who thinks the Milky Way is the only galaxy the Reapers, well... reap?  I mean, do you think they're visiting the Pegasus or Andromeda galaxies every 50,000 years, too?  Would they be going after the Wraith eventually?  Or the Asgard?  Or the Jedi? (Just a couple of examples for thought.)

Give me a moment, I see if I have the one prior to Horizon. I have one just before the end battle... sadly I wasn't quick enough to actually save after that beatle thingy. Anyway... one sec, I'll have a look at what I savegames I can offer.
