Nope.  Mia has dark brown eyes, as I was going for a hispanic/caucasian mix with her.

Green for my main Shep's eyes.

My shep is a redhead, just seemed to fit the personality I had for.  I tried going for red hair / green eye combo originally but I didn't like the green eyes in the character creator so I went with blue instead for the first few characters.

I made one toon with green eyes, wound up liking them in game.   My avatar toon is that character.

edit - wtb better character creator in ME3.

i like mantis armor. my current shep is wearing colors that look like captain america. may need to change that before heading to omega. think it's likely to get her laughed at.

@ kioux: agreed. i will sometimes push my avatar's haircolor a little more one shade or another than my own - eye color, too, but typically they always look a little like me. current toon is that way. uncertain eye color - i like it.

and i also have a weird thing about my avatars: they have to have their hair out of their face and off their neck. it's goofy, i know, but if YOU were out running around in heavy armor you'd be sweating like a pig. i loved the short shoulder length haircut, but looking at shep from behind all i could think was "ugh! that hair is going down her collar and must be soooo uncomfortable"

hence the bun...

she only lets it down for kaidan. mmmmm

Avery's a fake blonde and blue eyed. She's reverting to her natural color for ME2. I think it'll be the dark brown.

I had the same reasoning for mine.  Both have buns.

The Shep in my fics is the same as my avatar. And most of my characters tend to have blue eyes. Probably just a thing since that's my eye color. She just didn't look quite right as anything other than a blonde though.

i'm glad i'm not the only person who thinks this way. when making toons my husband is always like, "that hair's pretty." "but i wouldn't wear that to work out!" "so?" "so? she's a marine, not a contentant in a beauty show." (also why she wears very little makeup)

ME3 needs a few more short hair options for the female toons.

QFT - for proof, i submit all the many, many save edited sheps - like yours. i was stunned that ME2 had no new hair options.



Miranda seems like a girly sort of girl. don't you think she'd help shep out with a non-military haircut? but no - no new haircuts. just had to slap it back in the bun.

I think what ME3 needs more is pulled back hair options that don't look like Shepard either has the worst case of greasy hair in galactic history or used industrial-strength hair product.

The hair on my avatar isn't exactly what "Kate" looks like in my fic, Kate's hair is shorter, it doesn't cover her ears or much of her neck, but that's the closest to it of any of the options.

I just didn't like the way Shep's face looked with the hair pulled back like that. The texture was too flat (at least in ME1).



I did like it better with darker hair colors though (and my xenophobic renegade Shep wore her black hair done back with the twist).

If you mean the hair texture, absolutely yes.  Ash is an example of what I want to see pulled back hair look more like.

I think we all agree, the hairstyle options in ME suck.   The hairstyle mod for DA:O had a couple hundred thousand downloads.

I think the hair bump grew in ME2 too, I hope they don't make it even more of a caricature in ME3.


People just wandering into this thread are prolly like "wtf shirtless pictures, hair discussions.  It's like a thread full of female posters or something."
