Passing along some news:

Morrie23 said:
DLC tomorrow folks, from the ME facebook page: "Tomorrow morning we reveal what the next Mass Effect 2 DLC will be. Will it be new weapons? Will it be new worlds? Will it be the elcor-in-a-bikini appearance pack? Check back tomorow morning to find out."

I expect to be disappointed.

Well they did hint that it was news about more substantial dlc, so unless they've come up with another mission, it could be the Liara dlc.  Although it may even be one where we play as the collectors and have to take Shepard and the squad out.  That's how low my expectations have sunkPosted Image

I won't be disappointed because I refuse to get my hopes up, lol

Heh, for some reason I have this picture of the DLC being your great chance to play as Pyjak, trying to get into the Krogan warehouse - to steal food. Additonally you'll get an amazing minigame where you have to avoid the missiles that Shepard shoots at you from the turret. Hurray for dead expectations!

Or it'll be a 13th squadmate that will take up residence in the medbay.

Simon the Pyjak confirmed as 13th squadmate!!! He'll be like the Fable II dog and will be the only character that cannot die a permanent death on the suicide mission.

Wait... does he get a cursed gold coin from an ancient Aztec treasure pile?

Trouble is there's no room on the squad selection screen for anyone else if you managed to get out of the so called suicide mission with everyone surviving, so unless they get rid of someone in the meantime it doesn't leave much room for anyone else.

I'd rather have Varren than a pyjak, lol

Pyjaks/Varrens are short enough for the row in front of the humanoid squad.

Nope. If he dies, Shepard has the option of bringing him back to life by mining planets for "people". These "people" can be then turned into something secret that will revive the pyjack at the cost of the "person's" life.

+4 renegade points when you do it, though, and when you have Simon the Pyjack dlc, it becomes necessary and vital to gameplay to keep him alive

They could easily fit folks in front of the current squad's pictures if they do the sorority squat. That's 12 more squadmates, possibly more if they vary the height of the squatting.

I'd have a major fit if we got even more squad mates, unless its Kaidan of course. 12 is far too many, so I hope at least 1/2 of them leave between now and ME3, lol

Joker & EDI's plan for galactic domination.  Or maybe that should be Joker and his new best friend Udina's planPosted Image

I have a big problem. I need a screenshot to replace the unabashed awesomeness of this

Posted Image

because the lighting on this one has given me no end of trouble. It was simply incompatible with what I have in mind. So far my efforts to locate a suitable replacement have come to naught. I need something to convey about the same level of badassery and a sense of action, but with less harsh (and more manipulable) lighting.

Try this site. They might have a screen that would work.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have actually combed through a ton of the screenshots available at that site. I suspect there is very probably something that would work in there somewhere, but I would be a long time searching for it.

Incidentally, a few minutes after I initially posted here, I had a revelation as to a specific technique I've not yet tried, so I may yet be able to get the afore-posted screenshot to work after all.=]

That screen would be tough to use, depending on your project. It's got a lot of mid-range values and not a whole bunch of anything else. I wish you luck^_^

Can't I have Urz join the party?  He can sleep in my bathroom and I'll train him to feed my fish with his nose.

I'd like to have a little pet follower, tbh.

But if it came at the expense of more Kaidans, then my answer would be no.

I took that as a given.  There'd be no contest in that choice!  ;)

I'd smoothie half of my squad in ME2 to get Kaidan back.

Actually, I'd smoothie them all and I believe that Kaidan would be upset with that choice.
