Oh yay, confirmation of no new squad members. Not that I had any hopes that we would see Kaidan again before ME3, but still. *sighs* Posted Image

Ah, well, I'm going to head off for work. My latest chapter may finally be up later today, which means I did catch up on all the fics that I had been behind on. Nice job ladies.

Catch you all later.

Thank you :)

So....um...story driven DLC is like a dungeon? Got a dungeon feel from it but could be me :) Heh...I think the only DLC I'll get excited about will be the ones released near the actual release of ME3...those are the story driven DLC's I am hopeful about.

I am still lurking, my husband had to go to hospital last night (pains in chest, has previous history) they say it wasn't a heart attack but it was heart pain and are looking into what might be causing it, I feel a bit useless atm, so thought some mindless internet would help.......

Anyway my view on DLC is that it should raise the level cap tbh, new missions are all well and good but no character progression sucks!

Thanks Night, I just feel useless cos I can't drive (and the car is at the hospital anyway) and can't get over to see him because I have the baby/toddler to look after and don't want to inflict hours at the hospital on him! Didn't get home til around 3am and didn't get much sleep either + still in limbo.

I think they made the Hammerhead only to illustrate that the Mako wasn't cr*p tbh! I feel distinctly underwhelmed by it.

Glad I didn't get my hopes up for it.

Evening all

Meh, to the new dlc. Sounds rivetting, well I'm sure it does to someone anyway. Oh great, exploring in the hammerhead, someone kill me now, lol. why can't I go back to the crash site and rescue the Mako. If its left there, some merc is just going to pinch it anyway, so my Shep may as well nab it first

LoL, that's what I thought. That's why  I had that Garrus scene in my ff. No matter how much I hated driving that thing, I still hold it dear - somehow.

I'm sure Shep would want it for sentimental reasons, seems a lot of people have decided that the Mako was a perfect retreat for Shep and Kaidan Posted Image.

Glad to hear they aren't planning on releasing any more DLC characters. They've got too many characters to deal with as is. I am disappointed it's not the Liara DLC, though. They need to wrap up that whole Liara/Shadow Broker thing one way or another before they can make her recruitable in ME3 and if she isn't, that would basically nix any chance of Ash/Kaidan being recruitable.

What I would want from a DLC involving the Virmire survivors would be first and foremost a rewriting of Horizon to be less groan-worthy, hopefully including the opportunity to respond to Kaidan's message/have a conversation with him over the comm. My second choice would be some sort of mission where we help them out, including a substantial portion of new dialogue, some of which would be romance specific.

Re mako being a retreat, that's cause you can hide in it! ;)

My shep has a perfectly good retreat in the form of an apartment she won from the bloke on Pinnacle Station - but that seems to have disappeared along with Kaidan. although it could be a bit smelly by now. she had it stocked 2 years ago to take Kaidan there for shore leave. All those strawberries and all that cream wasted, lol

Thanks! It is always a worry because he had a heart attack when he was about 29/30 just before we met + his dad has had a quadruple bypass :(
I am just trying to distract myself atm, which is why I came here (rather than googling what might be wrong...)

@Jo: I wouldn't mind an 'undercover' mission either. Help them out in some extremly difficult task without letting them know it was you. Then again... that could also be a seed for new drama.
Ah I don't know... I need more coffee and something to eat. Meh...

Not googling is the smart thing to do, I've never been able to avoid googling things like blood work results and it always makes things worse because you automatcially jump to the worst possible outcome on the list.

Tuesday was quite the busy day for Shenko updates if you need something to distract yourself with.

Jen stay away from google and wait for the doctors - then go and check google to make sure it's right - don't be afraid to ask for a second opinion!
