I don't know if it will fit the mood but I've got a deleted Thane/Shep scene brewing from earlier in the story and this might just turn into bonus material for the ending.

Indeed, that is the premise of my blog.  I've even got two more Shenko songs to haul this back on-topic.  The soundtrack for Kaidan writing his message is James Hunter's Kick It Around and their reunion song is Carole King and James Taylor singing You've Got a Friend.

I'm so glad I ended up in this thread. I tended to feel a bit lost and alone with my quirks and habits... like having a specific song in my head while writing a specific part.

My song 1 (signature) works well for me when my Shepard is thinking back or is wondering about the past. I so love that song... and I see a lot of my story or Shepard in the lyrics - it's odd.



But I have a problem to decide my personal songs for the characters... though Simple Man by Shinedown, I mentioned before. I can see young Kaidan and his mom sitting outside, looking over a meadow that has been colored deep golden color by the sinking sun. I'm odd like that - I have a specific scene in my head - not just a general idea.

Ooh, songs for the characters?  Dang, I may have a new obsession!  I always have a song in my head when I'm writing a scene.  I keep trying to think of a non-cheesy way to work them in to the story but I've come to accept that it's never going to work.    The time span just doesn't allow for it.  I get Sharp Dressed Man a lot for Thane, thought.

@shenzi - I'm trying to keep things in order and get Ghosts finished. Its getting there...slowly, lol. I really want to work on the one that comes after Ghosts but I'm resisting the urge. I cant get into random stupidity 4 at the moment so its been moved to the backburner for a while.  the second chapter for the memories one is currently still working itself out in my mind so hopefully I'l get onto that soon as well.

I decided not to work on Chapter 7 until tomorrow when I found that I decided to leave spaces out of chapter six.  After I sleep I will fix them both, though 6 is still up.  27 hours and counting / 1 hour more and I am going to bed. I need to dog sit tonight and I don't go until 1930 (730 pm) still have an hour.  I am bringing my computer with the wireless internet so at least when I do wake up I can stay in touch with you guys. Oh and play ME or ME2 or DAO too..
