hahahaha! I missed a lot of the Kaidan love on the old boards because I spent most of my time in the Thane-related threads.  I was all about Thane until he turned into a slightly cooler... but ... uh.. Lizard-Carth. <_<

By the way Lady Winde I do like how you wrote Joker into it, in the game I always found it a little off that Joker was never given a moment to reflect on what happened since Shep dying was basically his fault. Well Shep chose to go save him, but if I were Joker I'd be wracked with guilt.

Yeah. I guess it speaks volumes on how Shepard handles meeting up with him again for the first time at the Cerberus place. She seemed okay with it so he figured oh awesome no hard feelings! otherwise he might have apologized i think. Would have liked to see more guilt from him though.

lol Yeah I was in the Thane fan club before ME2 on the old boards briefly, this was before we had any inkling of what kind of person he'd be and people had the best ideas!! We wanted a dangerous Bond-esque fishy stud muffin and instead they gave us religious 'I abandoned my family' guilt tripping dude....

Also, I have no idea if this Shepard romanced Liara or not. She ran up to him, but idk who is the default for a dudeShep that Virmired Ash.

I don't think Shepard would blame Joker for her death at all. Joker would definitely blame himself, though, so I was sad that conversation was not included. Also, even if Shepard had held it against Joker, I think she would still just be happy to be working with someone she actually knew.

In my head (because apparently you have to fill this stuff in), I rationalize that one of the reasons he left the Alliance and actually joined Cerberus was out of guilt, sure he was grounded but I don't think he was enough of a baby that would be his real excuse.. And then if TIM let him know that Shepard would be back that right there would be his ticket to personal redemption and do things right. 

Goes with his little jubilation when you talk to him at the cockpit for the first time and he's like : "It'll be even better this time!"

TY for the Shep compliment! She's based on me and looks surprisingly close (tiny chin and ski slope nose included but not visible from this angle), all I had to do during import was change her hair cos mine's longer now. I was very pleased.
