I'm also a bit weird. I'm currently sitting on Firewalker and waiting on this new DLC to come down the pipe. I actually intend to replay my cannon Shep to fit those missions as part of her regular story. Until the content is clearly post-ME2, pre-ME3, I'd rather just make it actually fit a natural story progression. Any other saves I intend to take forward, I'll just throw them in at the end.

I don't see why they would throw that scene with Ash's picture in the video if that wasn't what Casey was referring to. Just my opinion, but they wouldn't throw that in there knowing ow pissed off Ash and Kaidan fans are already.
I just watched it, and on one hand, it could have just been the Xbox360Achievements.org staff playing with our emotions (or their own wishful thinking) by throwing that scene in there. On the other hand, right after Casey talks about that future DLC with familiar characters, there's an obvious edit in the audio, cutting to another part of the interview. Is it possible that at that point the interviewer asked for more details, Casey said something leading them to believe that the DLC is pertaining to the ME1 love interests, and then he asked the interviewer NOT to include that in the interview footage? Maybe I'm reading too much into this (and I know I almost definitely am too optimistic), but :

I am usually always around just on the days I am not, I miss a lot. Hmm... I start to wonder about my Karma.
I just wanted to point one thing out, don't worry, I won't dwell, but I don't want to be forced into threads where I can't say what I would like about my favorite character without getting bashed or trolled. I have come to really like a good number of people here and I have found inspiration and a bit of extra joy in my life - no matter if this is an online thing or not - so from my side: Thank you all for making my day. Besides, I don't see much point in sending a Rock-Fan into a Techno-Club.
Now, about the DLC... I wish I could say it in any other way, but I trust those references in C.H's interview as far as I can throw him. I just say 'What's on the Horizon" and the next thing we got were a few helmet. I stick with my motto: I believe it when I see it. I can't deny that my heart jumped once - before I nailed it down again.
@Shenzi: Are you around and lurking? Would love to get your input on the upcoming Chapter

Well, people keep pointing out that the video could have been edited after the interview, and someone could have thrown in the scene with Ash as speculation. I guess it's probably best to be wary and not getting your hopes up too high. F*ck, I was so excited, too!
That awkward edit at that point is what makes me a little hopeful, Shav, since it just seems natural that an interviewer would have asked for more info at that point. If they were asked not to use Casey's response, then perhaps they would have used a clip there that was at least vaguely related to the topic at hand.
Oh, and Jho, regarding the art you're not happy with; I totallly understand, and I'm the most self critical artist in the world, but people love those pieces you weren't satisfied with! I was just thinking last night that I wish I could do the sort of stuff you do in photoshop with my character in Dragon Age.

I've got bucket loads of pessimism to share, lol. E3 is in June and Overlord dlc is due for release in June. I was hopeful for some information at E3 but now I'm thinking they will just tout the Overlord dlc.Shavon wrote...
We'll also probably find something more definitive at E3. I'm not going totally pessimistic yet, though.

I also have admittedly been mired in angsty fic for the past few weeks, so I'm not overly optimistic about anything due to my own hand. LOL

If you have a request or something, feel free to ask. Though my muse is having mood swings.
I've actually been thinking about venturing into the DA field with my pics but it would be best if I at least played the game a bit again. Which may be a welcome distraction, I'm bored silly.
Like Ki, I'm viewing the interview like the "What's on the Horizon" deal...it's one, vague line and I'm not going to read too much into it.

Assuming of course, the Alliance or the Council will allow Kaidan to accompany Shepard. That would be awesome ;p

Sapphry, you do bring up a good point, though! I've been overly optimistic before, and was let down by what Kaidan's role actually ended up being. I just don't want to keep believing Bw is this evil monster of a company that ignores their fans, though most days it feels like that. Well, we'll just have to wait and see. I just think it would be so awesome if we got to do some missions for the Alliance or Council, since this next dlc is errands for TIM

It would be very awesome. I do agree on that.
Even if there was no movement down a reconcilliation path, it would be awesome to have more than just Horizon and a bloody email.

Yeah, if anything I would love to get some missions like that. Which would establish Kaidan as a sort of liaison for the Alliance. That was the role I expected him to get in ME2, a cameo at the start and then him being the one who gives you information or requesting assistance etc etc. I always believed that despite the cameo, they would give his character a presence without needing to give him a ton of screen time. I mean, just using Sbarge's voice on transmissions and whatnot would have been wonderful

I generally ignore all announcements of DLC. I've yet to get one of them. Mostly because my husband's paranoid since Return to Ostagar and all the problems THAT one caused for us.

That would have been fine. Kaidan taking Hackett's place, that is. And those determined to "cheat" because a professional relationship wasn't acceptable would have. Can't say Meghan would have, but then Horizon broke her crazy little heart.

But maybe we'll see more of that for any post-ME2 upcoming dlc that tries to begin tying Shepard back into the Alliance and Council. I would hate to see Shepard's role as Spectre get left behind forever in ME1.

Almost anything would have been better than fricking Horizon.

Well, one thing I am thankful for from BW, is that given the such angry reaction most of us had towards Kaidan's role in ME2, we've had quite the artistic inspiration for people here. That has made up for it for me.
That it sure has.
btw don't listen to Sia if she says end chapter 5 on another cliffhanger!
