They could surprise us...maybe...who knows.

yeah sure - by making Ashley/Kaidan actually hate you for working with Cerberus and making Liara the next Shadow Broker

oh wait, you were negative....that means I have to be positive to balance it out?
*needs some help here* ^_^

Yes, you should be balancing it out...and you're not doing a good job darn you! :P You should be all cheery and saying it'll be alright and it's going to be fine and then give me chocolate.

Also, before it disappears in the oblivion between the great authors, I'll point out that my Chapter 10 is out.

You know guys, I think everything's gonna be alright with the ME1 LIs. They'll be back on the Normandy in no time to help Shepard out. I mean now that our mission is over for the time being and they are finished on Horizon too, we'll just have to pick them up and it's all good again.

I'll have a bit more work to do with Liara and the Shadow Broker situation, but that's cool. Then Liara will be back on the Normandy...in Shepards cabin, of course...to, you know, talk xD

And then, well, we'll see where we go from there. I still have that retirement home for after the Reapers are defeated - or maybe some place else to settle down - or not? There are some more Prothean ruins to explore out there, after all Posted Image

I was about to check my status on people's ignore list... and then some wonder why I cloak...

I was always writing, even if I was working on a term paper... in my breaks and free time, I worked on my ff or of. It helps me relax.

I'm sort of here checking in, my muse woke up hungry this morning at 4am so I've been paying mostly attention to her, she's very demanding.

Herro everyone!

Yeah, I'm looking at ME3 with pessimism. I don't see how they're going to give the fanservice romances and the other romances and the ME1 LI romances all even content and an even amount of dialogue. And given that Ash and Kaidan have become extremely unpopular due to the 'cameo effect', I have quite a bit of reason to sarcastically think that they'll be thrown under the bus again.

So, I'm still in the "not buying ME3" position until I hear something good is going to happen.

We still have a nice pile of tar, colored feather boas, pitchforks and torches... I think once we ME1-LI warriors get together... it will be an interesting picture and strike fear into BW's heart

@Jho: I don't expect BW to make it perfect. Maybe they'll put in a bit extra effort because it is the last part... maybe they won't. But as long as we get a decent story line and dialog, I can live with it because I prefer a lot of the ff versions much better already. I personally thin that they have to be careful - because what they do will have a pretty big impact on the fan community.
I just hope they'll do it right - even if they can never satisfy our insatiable hunger for Kaidan.

Morning all!

@ Ki: Glad you didnt  forget the tar and feathers.  lol!  They're starting to pile up in my garage and besides...they're so stylish. Posted Image

I also doubt it will be perfect.  Its' impossible to please everyone about everything of course. Like ya'll I just hope that we get a decent storyline and dialogue. That we aren't handed a couple of cut-scenes or *shudders* lame dialogue choices that don't allow us to really interact with Kaidan.

Good morning, ladies!

I just saw something hilarious and I wanted to share and see if it helps bringing the mood up!

It's not Shenko (it's Miranda/Sheppard) but it's about how Bioware does romance in its games.

Thanks! Glad you like it. I was worried about taking it a bit too far down the fluff-road but I do like the results. I also did my best to Wrex a slightly deeper personalty. But enough - Urz and I thank you.

Look at him... he's so cute. I think Kaidan and him will get along very nicely.
Haha... I can't help but see Kaidan taken Urz for a walk... maybe even on earth.
Kaidan felt strangely proud of his new pet, while everyone else stared at them. "You'll get used to it," he said to the the sturdy varren. "And don't worry, being different is not so bad." Urz wags his short tail in agreement. After all - different seemed to catch Shepard's attention.

I want a snuggly varren for ME3. Seriously. Or a pyjack. Either one would be really cute and awesome.

Every good rpg has an animal companion of some sort; even the mediocre ones do (I'm looking at you, Fable II). Then again, ME is a shooter now, so I wouldn't count on it.

I don't want to have to worry about feeding/walking/whatever any pet when he's back on the Normandy. It's just Shepard and Kaidan, everything else can go to hell :P

Hey, stop dismissing the fluff!  My entire current project is fluff.  And Joker snark.  And I like it.

Aye, it would be very nice. I honestly love Urz, he's so adorable, with his tail wagging and grinning.
A pet or animal companion is always a good way for the main character to settle down a bit and remember the simple joys in life.

@Jho: I am not questioning priorities, of course Kaidan is No.1. But I depending on the situation, a pet could help to bring them together again...  I mean Shepard and Kaidan.

@Jilly: I am not dismissing fluff at all - I like it. I am just not sure I am really good at it :)

Of course XD

I'm saying as an addon dlc type of thing. Kaidan takes priority over everyone :D

Morning all, I managed a whole 1 1/2 hours sleep, lol

Re pets - what Jho said.  Plus my shepard does not want to get up in the night and step in anything, lol.  She's already got enough sh*t to clean up in the galaxy without adding morePosted Image

ME3 content priority:
1. Kaidan
2. Ashley content that's different than Kaidan's
3. General dialogue/interaction/friendship paths for the rest of the squad (and neat NPC's)
4. Shepard specific dialogue/quests to take advantage of the background/psych profile
5. Urz (as long as he can't die if I forget to walk him between missions) :P

@Ki:  And your fluff is lovely, no worries.  I was debating an actual plot in Lost for Words (well, I had maybe, half a plot in mind, not sure where it would've gone) but I was curious whether I could write just a little character piece w/o it getting boring.  Since I tend to prefer other peole's stuff have some plottage.  Not sure if it's working yet or not, since I have only a vague idea where I'm going.

Good Morning Sia, Good Morning Sesh hour and a half huh, that's not much.

Yeah, I like the pet stories, but when I think of the way the Normandy was destroyed, I would worry to much about the pets. Yeah I go there. So I am on the Kaidan only side.

That being said I love both the story with the pyjack pet and the new one by Ki with the varren.

Have to go get shot. Keep me entertained people.

Carry On!!!!
