Okay everyone I have tighted up chapters 11 & 12 and they should be ready soon. Then a future nibblet came up and I had to hash it out, even though I am nowhere near using it. Don't want to lose what the muse is giving me. I got is down so when I get to it, I can work it up to fit the fic.

Ooooh forgive me for not worshiping the digital ground Kaidan walks!  Is it so bad that I play around with out-of-character goofiness for the game series I love?  Pardon me for showing my love with a little teasing.

The point of this entry was I wanted to share some of my fanart on the BioBoards, and a friend who is a bit more of a veteran suggested posting in character-specific threads.

I must admit, I did enjoy him in Mass Effect 1, but his one appearance in 2 kinda put me off.  I'm willing to see how they handle him in 3 with an open mind.

Your comments in the thread for that comic, and your "ME2 Romance" comic don't really show much love for Kaidan at all.  You are entitled to like whomever you want, but if you come into a support thread with links to those kind of comments, expect someone to wonder what your motives are.  If you really feel those things about Kaidan, you must not have respect for a group of his fans, right? 

I have no problem with people making jokes about the characters I like, but calling Kaidan "whiny" and comparing him to Carth are REALLY old and tired.  And frankly, it is a subtle form of trolling to go into a thread for a character you obviously dislike, post a joke comic about him, and sit back and wait for the "ignorant" fans of said character to hand you accolades for your wit.  Maybe that's not what you're doing, but it looks like it from the view of someone who looks at your dA comments.

I didn't find anything insulting about the comic, many of us have Shepard's that are annoyed at Kaidan atm.

I do have a sadistic streak, so while I might eventually forgive Kaidan and we'll live happily ever after, a period of humiliation for him is not out of order. And if he really understood my Shepard, he'd suffer gladly.

I find it interesting that so many of people's Shepards are extremely angry with Kaidan. Mia isn't so much because deep down she hates herself for working with Cerberus, so she can't blame Kaidan for feeling the way he does.

My Shepard isn't mad at Kaidan either; honestly, when I get to Horizon and the not responding to his email in my fanfic, it's going to be tough to write because the whole thing screams, "this is not my Shepard".
