I agreed with him that it is total BS that Shepard didn't go straight to the Alliance after Freedom's Progress and worked with them, or at least tried. I disagreed with him about that last five minutes before reaching Ilos, Joker could have waited...
LoooL! That is so very true. Gosh I really need to go to bed now... but I couldn't help it. Damn you addiction...

I don't think BW named Kaidan after the Japanese word. I think rather is just a variation of the name Caden, which can either be traced back to an Arabic name meaning Companion or a Welsh name that ends being something like Spirit of Battle. I just think those are much more fitting.

Hey Teen ...Kaidan kept switching to pistol for you in ME1? Cause he kept switching to the AR when I played it and it was really annoying me! He wasn't skilled with the AR and I kept having to switch him back to the pistol.

Yeah, I have no idea what made characters switch out weapons, especially ones with no weapon skills...but the one time I did a "cheat like crazy" playthrough, and I gave everyone Geth Assault Rifles, Kaidan kept switching back to his pistol. He still managed to pull his weight (I was cheating!
And Kioux, now I want to hear about your job as a game tester! Was it fun?

Can you even paragon him more than he is? If you can, I probably did. I'm not the renegade type, though there are situations when I have to go with the renegade answer... can't be good all the time.
the first time i did the kaidan LI, i chose all paragon stuff thinking that was the only way to advance it. silly me. i have since decided that there are some lines that really need to be renegade.
damn RIGHT that was an order.

2. Is Kaidan your favorite love interest of all time? If not, who is?
yep, he is.
3. How did you first get into ME1?
well, my brother was like "OMG, ME2 was allready released, at first, i hated it, but then i sated to play it and didn't understood a thing, so we decided to play the first one.
4. Did you paragon or renegade Kaidan? Or left him as is?
Never, i didn't even knew that you could do that when i was playing my first and only playthrough, but i don't want either.
5. What is your preferred romance conclusion for Kaidan in ME3? Ambiguous? Conclusive?
Well, that they have a happy ending.
6. How do you think Kaidan would get along with the squad mates in ME2?
he'll probably have ploblems with Legion, and if you "cheated", the LI with who you did it.
7. Assuming there is (hopefully) banter in ME3, who would you most like to see Kaidan bantering with?
With Samara, Jack, Miranda, Thane, Jacob, probably with everyone.
8. Pistol or assault rifle for Kaidan?
Pistol.
9. Besides being your love interest, what are some reasons you would save Kaidan on Virmire?
He is the tech and the biotic in my squad, Shep is the soldier, so he completes my party.
10. Did you know that Kaidan means "ghost story"? Do you think that has any relevance to his character?
Nop, i didn't knew that, and maybe it has some relevance to his character.

Here are some questions for you all to bring up discussion.
1. What is the best armor for Kaidan?
Doesn't need armor in bed!
2. Is Kaidan your favorite love interest of all time? If not, who is?
My favorites are directly related to what game I am playing/writing at the time. At the moment, I'm being a terrible Malak "fangirl."
3. How did you first get into ME1?
My sister made me play it. I kid you not.
4. Did you paragon or renegade Kaidan? Or left him as is?
Despite the alignment of the main character, I always paragon Kaidan. It's just too cute.
5. What is your preferred romance conclusion for Kaidan in ME3? Ambiguous? Conclusive?
Paragons: married, happily ever after. Renegades: still trying to figure that one out. I'll get back to you.
6. How do you think Kaidan would get along with the squad mates in ME2?
He'd probably get along fine with Jacob and Thane, they're very like him. He'd probably lecture Jack every time Shepard walked away. He's already friends with Tali and Garrus. He'd barely be able to tolerate a disloyal Miranda; however, both he and loyal Miranda like Shepard so that's something to work on. He probably wouldn't like Mordin or Grunt very much. Kasumi likes everybody. Samara and Kaidan have a lot in common, what with the Shepard stalking. He'd probably never talk to Zaeed, and Zaeed would be fine with that.
7. Assuming there is (hopefully) banter in ME3, who would you most like to see Kaidan bantering with?
Thane, Garrus, snippy side conversations with Miranda about amps. Jack, about her clothes.
8. Pistol or assault rifle for Kaidan?
Pistol. He shouldn't be shooting things anyway.
9. Besides being your love interest, what are some reasons you would save Kaidan on Virmire?
So that Ashley can redeem her family name and die a hero.
10. Did you know that Kaidan means "ghost story"? Do you think that has any relevance to his character?
Kaidan could be better translated as "mysterious words," which works a lot better.
11. Is there anything you especially agree or disagree with Kaidan in terms of his views?
Something about Horizon and 'giving people a chance to talk' comes to mind.

I can't decide on this one. Actually I'd take all others with me, one after another, just to see what Kaidan has to say. I'd be interested to see how he and Garrus get along after what happened, though. Jack would be interesting and after all the ideas we've had already, I would like to see how he reacts to Thane's flashbacks.
[more snippage]
I can't believe I forgot that Thane isn't really dead.

lol, yes. i never used that line (always was drawn to the "you're still hesitating?" - seemed to fit my shep better. and in the past, i always stayed away from the final "damn right" that's an order because i saw it as mean. now i see it as shepard easing the tension and being playful. of course she's not ordering him to do anything - well, not anything he wouldn't want to. i take kaidan's response as evidence of that - he seems completely delighted. i don't like the "shut up" part, but the rest makes me smile. it's like they finally stop taking themselves so seriously - at least for now.
then comes horizons...but we're going to simply have happy flashback time until me3 comes out.

I like it too, though I prefer the light armor look as opposed to medium armor. It's sleeker and yum <3

I agree, i totally hate that line, but after that, the whole renegade options are really funny.

I like how someone ratted him out. Probably mad 'cause he didn't think of it first.
