I did get the Kasumi DLC and tbh, I really like it and really like her (she's no Ashley Williams, but she feels like a girlfriend, iyswim?) She also has some good skills. But I am really not sure about the Hammerhead one the one hand it is extra playtime in the game but on the other hand Casey mentioned that the HH has some part in a 'boss', fight and I can't be doing with how weak the HH is, unless a shield boost or better armour is included with the DLC it might be just another thing I can't complete <_< 

Yeah heard good things about Kasumi, but still not getting her. Just not into ME2 at the moment, so why bother? Like I said, should there be some Squee moment DLC announcement, I'll most likely purchase them all at once. But that'll be a while yet ...if at all

I am not so much into the 'You don't get my money' mindset but more in the 'Offer something that calls out to me - Kaidan or good story DLC or you're not getting my money'. What I've heard about Overlord doesn't really swoop me off my feet... and while I heard Kasumi is a fun DLC, it just couldn't convince me.

I'll wait for the first reviews - then I'll decide.

I've purchased pretty much any Bioware product that's come out and downloaded all DLC but I think this time I'm going to wait to see what others say.  I really disliked the Hammerhead missions -- was bored -- although I did like Kasumi. (Sad about no Kaidan though).  And I'm a little suspicious about what "fully voiced" means after ME1's Bring Down The Sky. That was fully voice too -- but no new dialogue from any character but Shep.

@ Jen it was good, a quiet night and I got a lot of my fic done. At least the ME part is almost done. Not really looking forward to the ME2 part, but I might look at both sides, not sure.



I will probably buy the DLC cause I am just strange that way. I purchased the enforcer package and didn't even realize it. I have Katsumi and sure it was okay but her and Zaeed are real easy to get and if you pick them up you end up going to Horizon after only 2 squad members. I find I like to be at a higher level when I go to Horizon, so I put off picking them up. I was a little weirded out by her loyalty mission. But it was better then his.

as far as DLC goes I pretty much buy them all looking at it like this as long as they do well in sales they will contuinue to put out more DLC and keping my fingers crosed that sooner or later we will get kaidan DLC but not holding my breath.

Exactly my thought!  Basically I went through about 2 of the HH missions and found myself crashing and practicing my use of profane vocabulary the whole time.  After about the 25th "G** damn it!"  or worse, my poor dog started to run out of the room whenever she heard the Mass Effect music come on. So I decided to quit while I was ahead.

I use the Colossus

Yes

3. How did you first get into ME1?
A friend was playing and I watched and really got into the story, didn't know about the LI until later

4. Did you paragon or renegade Kaidan? Or left him as is?
Paragon all the way!

5. What is your preferred romance conclusion for Kaidan in ME3? Ambiguous? Conclusive?
I agree with Jho, Going all out, over the top romantic conclusion. A proposal would be nice but a happy end for sure and a fully voiced, happy ending scene...no textbox of doom.

6. How do you think Kaidan would get along with the squad mates in ME2?
I think Kaidan is professional and will get to know them each as individuals. He was always accepting of new squad members in ME and I don't see that changing.

7. Assuming there is (hopefully) banter in ME3, who would you most like to see Kaidan bantering with?
Joker and Mordan, they makes me laugh and I also like in some of the fics that when Kaidan is in the dog house he has to bunk with Mordan

8. Pistol or assault rifle for Kaidan?
Can't I have both.

9. Besides being your love interest, what are some reasons you would save Kaidan on Virmire?
His skills and biotic

10. Did you know that Kaidan means "ghost story"? Do you think that has any relevance to his character?
No. My RL name means Stranger.  You can't get stanger then that.

I agree that Cerberus is vile and needs to be crushed.

I actually preferred effectiveness over looks, I want my boys ALIVE.  The only ones I really hated were the Explorer and the Phoenix armors.

Pistol.  Assault Rifle's just overcompensation for a biotic.

Yes, although i do have a soft spot for Carth.

3. How did you first get into ME1?
By accident, I finished playing Freelancer after a long time  and I was looking for another intresting game set in space.

4. Did you paragon or renegade Kaidan? Or left him as is?
Paragon.

5. What is your preferred romance conclusion for Kaidan in ME3? Ambiguous? Conclusive?
Conclusive in that Kaidan and Shepard survive and stay together and in love

6. How do you think Kaidan would get along with the squad mates in ME2?
I think he would make an attempt to get along with everyone or if not at least give them the benefit of doubt before deciding he doesn't like them.

7.Assuming there is (hopefully) banter in ME3, who would you most like to see Kaidan bantering with?
Joker and Mordin, may be Jack.

Not really but he does get to see at least one ghost.

I only played ME1 a few times so I'm not good with armor names, I just kept upgrading his armor every time I picked up something that was an improvement for him.

I'm actually rather fond of both Kaidan and Alistair. TBH it really depends on which game I'm into playing at the time. ATM I'm complety into writing and reading ME fics so my answer is Kaidan, if Bioware releases a non craptastic sequel to DA that gives me Alistair back as a party member and I get obsessed with DA again then might answer might switch to Alistair till ME3 comes out before switching back to Kaidan.

3. How did you first get into ME1?
I didn't play it when it first came out, I was on an MMO kick at that time.   I picked it up right before ME2 came out, I was hooked when I heard that Sbarge voiced Kaidan, I was a huge fan of his from playing KoToR.

4. Did you paragon or renegade Kaidan? Or left him as is?
Paragon

5. What is your preferred romance conclusion for Kaidan in ME3? Ambiguous? Conclusive?
I don't need a real conclusion, meaning a wedding or anything like that, the two characters together, in love is enough for me.

6. How do you think Kaidan would get along with the squad mates in ME2?
Professionally but there would be conflicts for sure.

7. Assuming there is (hopefully) banter in ME3, who would you most like to see Kaidan bantering with?
Miranda and Jack.

8. Pistol or assault rifle for Kaidan?
Pistol, what does he need an AR for?

9. Besides being your love interest, what are some reasons you would save Kaidan on Virmire?
Powerful biotic, medical training, technical expertise

10. Did you know that Kaidan means "ghost story"? Do you think that has any relevance to his character?
I had no idea

11. Is there anything you especially agree or disagree with Kaidan in terms of his views?
Not  really, my Shepard understands his view on not joining Cerberus with her, she wouldn't be there either if she had a choice.

I didn't realize you could skip the whole akward Kaidan asking if you were into Liara convo... next playthrough I'll just ignore her.

you can. i discovered this only on my most recent playthrough. truthfully, i like it better that way. the lines just seemed more...decisive. i do miss the "what's the real issue here, kaidan?" and the "no issue - at least not when you're around" but i think i liked it better when he's a little more sure of shep. IRL i don't like relationship drama. mebbe that's why i like kaidan so much - he's just straight with you.

hmm... okay, i was simply shooting for them together and alive. i can let my imagination take it from there.


BUT, if bioware decided to give us all that, i would be over the moon - any one of many moons. kaidan seems like the kind of guy that would propose, too. after all, i always secretly thought he was planning on it when shep died. 

yeah. no text boxes.

i also would REALLY like to see a good reconciliation scene. as in, two of them: one when the crew is around, with banter. one private one in the comm room after they all leave. (Though it does weird me out that everyone is bugged. my first job after telling TiM to ****** off is to get loyal Miranda and EDI to help me de-bug the ship.)
