Someone already complained at me in my reviews for the cliffhangers.    All I can say is... whatever keeps y'all coming back!

I liked the way you ended the second chapter to this new story, we have all seen the "Shepard and Kaidan meet after Horizon for the first time" scene in fan fics before, cutting out the chat and getting to the action right away is different and fun.  I approve!

Well... I figure there's no way they'll possibly make up without another crisis.  At least not Avery and Kaidan.  Y'all's mileage may vary.

Anyone know what happens to reviews when you delete a story off FF.net?  It's about time for me to start consolidating the Captain's Logs, but I don't want to lose my reviews.

My guess is that the reviews would poof, when there was that bug yesterday and the first chapters of PoV disappeared the review I put up also disappeared from my list of reviews I had made.

I have this very specific final image for both Kaidan and Shepard and the entire series itself that tends to be ambiguous yet hopeful. Just imagine them both silently staring out into space, think of a place like the observation decks of the Normandy, when Kaidan finally breaks the silence with "What's next?"

@Sia; what you could do is append the other chapters to the first Captain's Log, and at least you'd have the reviews from that one. I don't know how to save the other reviews.



Fanfiction.net gets weird for me sometimes. I wasn't able to sign in for almost a week, recently, which meant I couldn't review anything. I had my password right, but the site said it was wrong, and when I went to the password recovery screen, it would say it sent me my password, but never did. Then one day my password just mysteriously worked again.

I don't think I lost any reviews but my Chapter 10 doesn't show the hits. I see the reviews but not the hits on Chapter 10.

Seems things are a bit... ****y at the moment over at ff.net - I hope it'll get fixed soon.

The traffic has been borked for a few days, I have reviews up for chapter 9 with 0 hits according to the traffic.

Ack! Don't say that. I just posted a prologue to Chapter 1 and added Chapter 23. If I have to start from scratch I'm going to cry! (Side note, is there any way to add files to DA without using that evil text box and reformatting the whole thing? If there is I probably won't cry nearly as hard except at losing my reviews.)

I wouldn't have to start over to do it. The majority of my heavy lifting, writing-wise is still on the DA:O boards with The Rescue. Relocating the Mass Effect stuff wouldn't be too painful, and I'd have more creative freedom on the other site, like when Avery and Kaidan finally make up...

Well I braved the storm and put up Chapter Eleven.  If I have to resubmit it I will.

To do that, I need to rename the first one to the title of the whole series, of which The Funeral is just the prologue.

I've named the file on my computer, "Loved."  I'm liking that for the overall title of Meghan's Logs, but I'm not 100% sold on it.

you know, i love your guy's fanfic. i love a good story (why i'm addicted to ME in the first place) and it is a total hoot to get more takes on the whole thing.

Go ahead Sage, everyone is really nice about it.  I was worried that only KAST members would appreciate it, but when I started to get people making me or my stories as their favorites and I didn't recognize their screen names that was a big thrill for me.  Of course I may have gone a little overboard.  11 chapters in 1 week, but then I was mostly finished with the ME part... It's the ME2 that I need to start working on.  I will slow down.. at least I think I will.


Trying ME with a male Shepard for the first time... will see how it goes.

i think i will. i actually already started typing up something... lol. my husband was like "what are you doing?" "uuuh...entertaining myself until me3 comes out?" (i reassured my husband that the reason i like kaidan so much is that kaidan reminds me of him a little. its' true. he's remarkably non-plussed by my me obsession. probably takes it in stride as part of the package of having a wife who likes gaming)

mass effect has actually made me step over the line into complete bioware fangirldom. i only wish i could draw better.
