LoL... I have the ME2 soundtrack, DA:O - not the first one. I have more game and movie soundtracks but since it's BW based, I lose.

But I have 'The Last Run', 'Suicide Mission', 'Reflection' and 'Normandy Reborn' on my MP3 player and tend to loop it... so there.

And here I thought I was obsessed because I spend all my free time at work writing my fan fic and lurking on the boards and spend all my time at home talking to all of you so much that I can't go to sleep without checking the KAST (yes it is my home page)  I play ME/ME2 or DAO constantly.  And when I come home I go through my fic again to see if it is ready to be published. 

But your saying having the soundtracks are what makes me obsessed, then I could have just stopped there.   What's with that.

Hmm, I don't resemble any of that.   I didn't completely forget to take my car in for its environmental treatment cause I was too busy writing Shenko, nope.

Until you've seen MMO obsession you've never seen real video game obsession imo.

 At least none of us are rearranging our schedules to raid every night, often not getting enough sleep because omg there's still one boss left in the dungeon.   Raid at night, spend the days on the message boards during the day at work. I went overboard for a time on MMOs.   EQ, WoW and then Warhammer.  ugh. that's a lotta years. 

When I was cleaning out the old data server last week before we shut it down, I found drafts of the long assed posts I used to put up on my guilds message boards. Important stuff like "Why healing and damage meters are an inaccurate representation of raid contribution and should not be the sole factor for gear distribution."  Some posts were longer than any given chapter in my fic.  

Now I just pop into this thread with a "omg Jho, Kaidan looks hot in that pic" and disappear again.

@ Shenzi Well I have Star Trek Online but it's more an obligation then an obsession. I could give that up, but not ME and certainly not Kaidan. --- off to read chapter 8 / but I will be lurking

jaer, i just read your fanfic. that's awesome! i love your take on shepard - it's hard to get a read on her sometimes, like when she feels like a man wearing a woman's body. i like what you did with her character.  your take on how things should play out in me3 makes me smile.

Just to clarify...my Shep doesn't feel like a man in a woman's body. She feels more confident with armor & weapons because that's where her skills have been proven. She knows what to expect and how to act around those in a military setting because that's where she's most comfortable, where she's spent most of her time. She's had less experience with wearing dresses, dating, etc, so she's less comfortable. Since we don't have friendships in ME, just either sleeping with or not talking too, she doesn't have anyone she could really go to for advice in a dating situation, either. She's more tomboy than anything, really. Never wanted to be a man, simply liked playing with the boys.

It brings an interesting dynamic to her relationship with Kaidan because there really isn't anyone else she'll have a heart to heart with and she has difficulty even opening up to him.

BTW, Sage, your summary of the various backgrounds and the comments...that's gold for someone who fics in the ME universe. Thanks for doing it.
