oops that last bit might not be in chapter 11 or chapter 12 - might be in 13 ... which isn't up yet, oh well ...preview ...

I have played a few hours of ME 2 and I need to get to be sleeping by now.  Chapter 13 will be up tomorrow sometime.  I have to Star Trek Online in the morning, but should be with you guys on the Iphone while I wait for the guys to pick a mission.

shoot the phaser... shoot the phaser... shoot the phaser (aren't you dead yet) ... shoot the phaser.... (Die already) ..shoot the phaser....

you get the Idea.  I need my widow maker.

Anyway.  You guys have a great day and thanks for the delicious trio and the Kaidan pic.

Night is Falling....

Excuse me... I have to hurry up and write so he and Avery can reconcile quickly.

How's that coming along, are they reconciled yet? Posted Image

My femShep is a lush.

Not sure about my dudeShep though. I might give him a low tolerance for comedic value.

@Shotty: "addling"? Is that what we're calling it now? *snickers*

@Pac: I've avoided ever combining enough different things to have that effect. At least, since I was young enough I could get away with it. Sharing a box of wine in a hotel room after attending an irish wake (yes, at a pub even) was pushing it though.

@Sia: yeah, for reconciling. fun times, that. especially in hotel rooms. Or showers. Or Captain's quarters with a locked door. Our gutter is very broad-minded, location-wise

@Night: I haven't actually ever gotten the 'thing in the thing' line either, since none of mine bothered with the drinking in game.

Ella can drink like any proper marine, if she's on shore leave.  Catherine doesn't touch alcohol, as she doesn't believe in losing control, and Ward (earthborn) hates reminding himself of his misspent youth, but when he's upset could drink the bar down.

eta:  And I would dearly love to see your dudeShep drunk.  He's awesome.  And frequently hysterical anyways.  Will Kaidan be his wing-man?

*snip*Like the bartender in afterlife poisoning humans.

wha? huh? what bartender? i totally missed that.

You need to take your Shepard out for some hard drinking. Tell 'em to put more stuff in the thing that more stuff goes in! :)

you know, i never had my shep drink. i'm not much of a drinker irl - i just fall asleep. but now that i have kasumi dlc, i think she's going to go get plastered in the observation room after horizons

In the lower level of Afterlife on Omega there is a batarian bartender who poisons humans.  If you order a drink and drink it you get the assignment.

And the comm room.  And the observation deck.  And cargo bay.  And even the beach on Virmire before things went bad...

Though I really can't believe I forgot the Mako.  There's one somewhere I read where they were all sneaky in the catwalks at the Citadel too... :bandit:

HELP!!! I know there is a shower scene in one of the ME2 romances with Shep in the shower, but I can't remember whose and have no desire/time to watch them all again. Question...were towels involved? Or did it cutscene and Shep was suddenly dry? Forced air or towels?

Or did I make it all up? I have been known to swear parts are in a movie that aren't really there...

Garrus' romance has Shep coming out of the shower, though I think it's a small clip of her getting ready for him to come up.

I don't recall towels though.

It's Garrus' romance. There are no towels involved.

Thanks, Fort & Collider. I hate it when I can't remember details. I can see where the shower itself has the possibility for forced air drying rather than towels, and it is supposed to be more luxury ridden than an Alliance craft (Leather seats!). Towels are more fun, however and forced air seems impractical, but that might be just a modern viewpoint vs a futuristic.

Any opinions?

I'd love dryers like that for the sake of convenience, though wouldn't they dry your skin out? Towels seem like the most comfortable solution.

Shep would have big, fluffy bath sheets but she wouldn't share.  :P  Actually, in the shower scene I wrote I just gave her a robe.  No towel needed!

sweet. i'll do it for the quest then. anything for a quest - almost. i still find rigging gambling machines dumb.

and actually, i take it back. i always get drunk with dr. chakwas. the comedic value is just too high.

@legbamel...I like the idea of a robe, but after the first Normandy went down my Shep doesn't relax that much while on the SR-2. It's sweats, BDUs or armor while onboard. When she's off the ship, it's a completely different story.

@fort...I hadn't considered dry skin, very good point. I'll go with the towel option. Thanks!

I thought we burned all the towels? Repeatedly, in fact..

Though I forgive Jaer for resurrecting them, if it means she's writing more. Who, me, stalk Jaer and Jho wherever they go and post stuff online? I wouldn't do that... *attempts to hide rabid fan girl status*

Jilly it's a good thing you don't react the same way as Ella to being called cute or adorable. Posted Image

Sapphy - updated my fic with a short chapter 10, the chapter was getting too big so I just posted the first piece of it as it's own chapter.

@Shenzi: I got the update in my inbox. Just been trying to work on my chapter so haven't broke off to read anyone's stuff yet today.
