Haha, I know I (and some other fans) would be whining if you didn't finish The Rescue.  And I would have to imagine a scandalous and impractical, yet horribly sexy ending for Moira, Alistair and Zevran.  You wouldn't want that, would you??? 

And I'm loving where A Paragon of Virtue is going so far.  I love fics where Kaidan gets to interact with the ME2 crew, so I'm looking forward to more!

i'd say yes and yes. with the caveat that i think you really have to go looking for the kaidan romance. it's easy to miss at first. but having played this game a few (lol! few?) times, i've found it's pretty complex and there's always something i didn't see the last time through.

I'd say it's a tie.  The complexity in each of those relationships comes from a different place, but they're all equally complex.

as sagequeen, i say yes and yes, sometimes there are just dialogs that change a lot if you pick an other option. I used to pick just the paragon option, but then, i realized that there are better than those. At first, as i played ME2 first, i never thought that I could romance Kaidan, but then, when i played ME, i was...arrrg...happy

I've never romanced anyone but Kaidan in ME.

I made a fresh ME2 game with the intention of possibly trying out one of the other romances but just couldn't' do it.  "**** Shep" always put me off of Jacob, with Thane it was just too creepy being the dead wife replacement and while I adore Garrus my Shep thinks of him more than a brother than as a possible romantic partner.

I didn't find it hard to romance Kaidan at all. In fact I had played three quarters of the game through before I realized I had and only because He and Liara came in and confronted me. I was like "okay, how did that happen?" I had to go back and see what I missed. It was complex in it's subtlety I think.

On the other hand I never even considered not doing it any other time I played the game and I am really having a problem getting through my male playthrough because of Kaidan. *sighs*

I like Shenzi never even considered romancing anyone else.  It just makes sense.

Just my two cents (please take into consideration I haven't slept yet)

Garrus cracked me up with his double entendres but I couldn't go through with it because it turned all serious.  Blow off steam?  My renegade said .  OMG, Shepard, I love you?  

I couldn't even talk to Jacob long enough to see romance options.  I wanted to take Shep and slap her for acting like such a horn-dog.

I had romanced Carth in KoToR so there was even the slightest chance of not romancing Kaidan.
I could listen to Sbarge's voice all day long.

@legbamel - First time I heard Shep's voice talking to Jacob as she asked to talk, I couldn't hit the reload game button fast enough, and never went near that option again.

I felt like yelling "Bioware wtf have you done to my Shepard", course I also did that again after Horizon but there wasn't anyway around that disaster .
