Fortunately, I am no where near inclined to write Meli's tale.

"Angry" Shep is actually Paragon, not that you would believe it in the story so far.

She hasn't done anything to make me believe that she isn't a paragon.  She's got some emotional baggage which is not surprising. I would have thrown a door at that doctor too.

I have issues with fics that try and portray Shep as some sort of super human, able to be ressurected without paying an emotional price.  Kate's got all sorts of baggage from the whole dying and being brought back to life thing.

I'm not sure if any of you know this, but apparently there is a picture of Kaidan on Anderson's desk in ME2. Why do you suppose this is?

Oh yes, we all know and have confirmed it's existence.
I try and not think of the reason why it would be there.

edit- Yep, just saw that.  I just read it as "Anderson" when I saw your post because it's a topic that has been gone over many times.

Yeah, I can't blame people who move on.  Especially since we have no idea if Kaidan is going to have a major role in ME3.  For all the conjecture assuming that the ME1 LIs are going to be squadmates, I could be keeping my characters faithful just for another email and a textbox in the ending powerpoint presentation.  But for now, I'm hoping that we'll get more than that, and I really don't want to have to "rechoose" Kaidan in the last game.  Especially if it's between him and Thane.  Yeah, romance the dying guy, give him a reason to live, and then dump him...not nice.

I *think* the picture is just a mistake, but I won't be terribly shocked if it was a bored Bioware person who decided to put that there for a laugh.  

And while the romance scenes leave more to the imagination in ME2, Jacob's scene was definitely sexy time.  Although it would be hilarious if FemShep flirted with him outrageously, climbed on top of him, and then just cuddled.

And yeah, I agree with everyone else, bloody Kaidan could be hot.  I wasn't a fan of the Dragon Age splotches, though, I turned the blood off immediately, and have never turned it on again.

I take it you romanced Thane in ME2?

I'm actually quite positive that Kaidan/Ashley will return for a rather significant role in ME3. I recall reading somewhere that they were intentionally put as mere camoes in ME2 so that their survival is ensured as they will be there for us in ME3. I really hope this is the case.

Yeah I am with the grayed out Paramore achievment also.  I am with the others I want Bioware to know how important it is not to cheat. 
Although only one of my Shepards is emotionally inmature (okay and that is the one I write about)  The others are strongly loyal too.
Besides, lets face it, no matter how angry he was on Horizon, how could any of them not want those eyes or that booty back.
I play paragon totally.  I was talking about it with a friend of mine who is really similar in characteristics as me.  Funny she likes to go renegade in games, it lets her unleash her inner evil.  I guess I get to be evil enough in RL because I love being extra nice in games.  When I told her I thought I was a nice person she laughed at me.  Guess I am not as nice as I think I am

Okay but being a New Yorker I do tend to be really blunt, maybe that's what she means (I hope).

I've run into that on occasion.  More often run into the problem of the  forums losing my login info even though I have checked "remember me."  Doesn't seem to be happening very often now that I've upgraded from Vista to Win7.

Okay I decided to play my Shepard character from my fic through ME1 again to make sure I haven't missed anything. (Okay I am procrastinating because we are getting close to Virmire, and although it is written, I am not ready to go there).
When Shepard is talking to Nihlus she asks why the humans didn't keep the beacon for themselves.  I was thinking that the way our government is now that is exactly what they would have done (keep the beacon for themselves I mean)  I can't see them sharing with the Council even if the scientists were better.  Nihlus says humans are selfish, well they are.
