Re- Renegade v Paragon:

I find that I'm the opposite of a lot of folks; I've found the renegade path to be my 'canon'. Faith Shepard doesn't tolerate bullcrap of any sort and will get violent and angry if someone is in her way. Though I will say that she made a few key paragon decisions. She saved the rachni queen and the Council; the rest of her decisions were renegade.

Sure, she can charm the hell out of folks if she feels like it but ultimately there isn't enough time to get people to do what she wants. She finds that coercion is a lot better than kissing a bunch of ass.

I think Meghan would like Faith. ;)

Avery... not so much.

Hehe. Meghan would get a talkin-to about leaving Kaidan :P

My dudeShep is paragon though! He's a ray of sweet hearted sunshine!

Why?  That way Faith gets him unopposed. ;)

She'd probably take both of them and try to talk them into a 3-way or something

i agree. me1 i had to work to go renegade. me2, it's like i just started going that way. mebbe cause you're out in the traverse with no one to trust at first? plus i just could not help mouthing off to the batarian who called me a stripper.

@ fort & sia - i always played paragon, but i must say your fan fic makes an excellent case for the renegade femshep.

i like to play my femshep as a bit of an ice princess. professional, efficient, paragon, she chooses to help people half out of sympathy, but also because she thinks the most likely way to save the galaxy is to negotiate peace. colonialist attitudes didn't work so great in earth history, so human dominance in the galaxy sounds like a bad idea to her. she saved the council mainly because vigil said the reapers went after the governments first - it was a tactical choice 1st, a sense of duty 2nd. she does the right thing, but is a little cold about it. only a very few people get past that. it's like even pissing her off OR making her laugh takes a very special person. (mmm...special kaidan person. he manages both.)

That's exactly why Meghan saved the Council.  Course, she saved the rachni to ****** OFF the Council...  (How many generations until they overrun Citadel space?  Three... no four!)

Wow, I missed a bunch of interesting questions...

Ella, my colonist/ruthless Shep, is actually (usually) very paragon, with a short temper. She tends to threaten people into getting out of her way so she can save their lives. She saved the colonists on Feros, saved the Rachni, saved the Council, blah blah blah. And she's possessive enough that she wouldn't share Kaidan, even during the 'not together' window. Nope.

And, in response to the how paragons w/ruthless background work, she is only vaguely disturbed by her actions on Torfan, as they were slavers, and the only way to save their future victims is to not let any of them get away /ever/. She would've preferred sacrificing herself rather than her subordinates to do it, but that isn't always an option.

Catherine's the actual renegade, though she listens to her crew and generally does what they ask. More to keep them in line and working with her than any true loyalty, as she's not particularly compassionate, but she's a very cool-headed/manipulative renegade. No fun temper-laden interrupts for her. (She's my sniper-Shep too.) She's very precise, so there isn't a lot of collateral damage when she's taking someone out, but it doesn't bother her if there is.

She absolutely set Parasinni and Anoleis up to kill each other, cause then she didn't actually have to deal with either of them. Turned Opold in for her pass, too, just for having the nerve to ask a Spectre to run its illegal errands. She's kinda scary. (She still blew up the Collector base though, as Reaper tech /indoctrinates/ people, and an indoctrinated Cerberus would be bad.)

And Ward's a boyscout. Escaped the gangs, turned total goody-goody War Hero Poster Boy type. I think Meer's voice acting is kinda creepy when he's being renegade, tbh, while Hale just seems extra bad-@ss, which might be why my maleShep's the only total Paragon. Not sure.

Oh wow, this gives me an idea for a fic describing counseling sessions with Kelly for different crew members.

Imagine Kelly and Jack, or Grunt, or Zaeed.

I'd imagine that Garrus would be polite enough to her, but not very forthcoming.
