Wow, I missed a bunch of interesting questions...
Ella, my colonist/ruthless Shep, is actually (usually) very paragon, with a short temper. She tends to threaten people into getting out of her way so she can save their lives. She saved the colonists on Feros, saved the Rachni, saved the Council, blah blah blah. And she's possessive enough that she wouldn't share Kaidan, even during the 'not together' window. Nope.
And, in response to the how paragons w/ruthless background work, she is only vaguely disturbed by her actions on Torfan, as they were slavers, and the only way to save their future victims is to not let any of them get away /ever/. She would've preferred sacrificing herself rather than her subordinates to do it, but that isn't always an option.
Catherine's the actual renegade, though she listens to her crew and generally does what they ask. More to keep them in line and working with her than any true loyalty, as she's not particularly compassionate, but she's a very cool-headed/manipulative renegade. No fun temper-laden interrupts for her. (She's my sniper-Shep too.) She's very precise, so there isn't a lot of collateral damage when she's taking someone out, but it doesn't bother her if there is.
She absolutely set Parasinni and Anoleis up to kill each other, cause then she didn't actually have to deal with either of them. Turned Opold in for her pass, too, just for having the nerve to ask a Spectre to run its illegal errands. She's kinda scary. (She still blew up the Collector base though, as Reaper tech /indoctrinates/ people, and an indoctrinated Cerberus would be bad.)
And Ward's a boyscout. Escaped the gangs, turned total goody-goody War Hero Poster Boy type. I think Meer's voice acting is kinda creepy when he's being renegade, tbh, while Hale just seems extra bad-@ss, which might be why my maleShep's the only total Paragon. Not sure.
