:happy:  Thanks!  You didn't have to do that but I appreciate your collecting these links in one place.  It definitely makes it easier for me to find stuff I've been meaning to read but forgot to bookmark.

That's what happens when your writing when you should be sleeping, I was looking for a link to look something up, saw all the new fics and decided to collect them in one place since there were so many.  Didn't want anyone to miss yours, Shenzi, Sesh, sages

For those that asked Thunder is breathing better today so it looks like we will be in wait and see mode.  Again thanks for all your support.

The fics are a lot of fun!  I really enjoy watching the creative process, brainstorming over the rough drafts and then getting to read the finished product.  It's really cool to watch how things evolve! 

@Shenzi:  You are a fabulous fic promotor.  Your recommendations and your updated fic list is so helpful! We should at least be sending you cookies!

@ Night:  I'm so sorry to hear about Thunder.  Our pets do become part of the family and it's so hard to say good bye.  Today is the one year anniversary of my American Bull Dog's death (cancer) so I'm feeling kinda sad atm myself.

((hugs))  We lost two cats one on the day Pavarotti died and the other almost a year later and Seifer went missing two or three weeks ago (the day that my son was mugged) he was found hiding in the garage but for a while there I was so scared  You are so right, I don't get it when people expect it to not matter so much because it is a human. My heart broke when my mum died last year and I miss her but I also miss the two cats that shared my every day for years and years, why wouldn't I?

Yes we do become connected to our pets. Cami had come to me from a rescue organization and had been terribly traumatised. It took a lot to gain her trust and in the process she also gained mine and became a very loving part of our family.  We had to have her put to sleep. The vet actually came to the house and actually had a lovely farewell process for the humans as well as a very humane process for my baby.  She also gave us information about a couple of local therapists who specialise in helping humans process the loss of their animal family members.

And it's scary when they disappear too.  One year two of my male cats got locked in a vacant house - guess they went in when the real estate agent was showing it and got out the same way but with a 5 day disappearance.  Scary.
