Wow, they really aged him. That's not just texturing improvements.
Ashley still looks the same, though. But I guess she was much younger than both Shepard and Kaidan at the beginning of ME1.
you're right. but is it me, or does he look tired in ME2? two years of mourning shepard have not agreed with poor kaidan. he needs lovin'
okay, relaly am going to bed now.
He looks tired and aged. The whole thing sucks because I'm pretty sure Ash didn't age at all.
I actually like the slighty more worn look, the lighting on Horizon only sharpens his features more as does the graphics upgrade. In ME1 he just looks 'softer' and is often in dark or horrific red/orange lights. There are just minor differences and to me it seems as if only certain shots at certain angles and with certain lighting make a huge difference, at other times I hardly see a change at all.
To me seeing him slightly aged and tired, especially at the start of Horizon cutscene, tells his story. He's hardened, has been working his ass off (oh yes I'm using those words in one sentence), he's lost the woman he loves and yet there are rumors she's alive, he's feeling guilt, he's struggling with his life and trying to move on...and failing. That leaves marks. If he was still the Kaidan he was in ME1, I wouldn't feel the last two years effected him in any way...and that would be awkward. One robot (Shepard) is enough, thanks
