I'm all for A/U in ME but vampires?  Even I can't see that one.   Sounds like a ME / BTVS cross over.

What's even worse, there was absolutely no transition or explanation.

Maybe it is a dream sequence

Nope.  It's apparently where the author was intending to go the whole time.

Okay, I have to wonder...wouldn't being a turian vampire be very inconvenient, because of the dextroDNA thing that makes squishy races like humans and asari inedible? Meanwhile, other turians have a nice hard carapace that would make getting to the blood hard, and if they decide to feed from quarians, well, they've got the suit to contend with. It would be kind of boring, because the easiest way to feed would be to raid blood banks or something.

I can get the link if y'all want it... but seriously someone turned Shepard and Garrus into vampires.  They get turned in Chapter 14.


Until that chapter, it was a fairly decent fic.

There was literally no explanation given. One chapter was Garrus' LM, the next they're both vamps. I had to stop reading.

I just read that too, it was actually very funny, because I skimmed the beginning of the chapter, looked back at chapter 13, and was completely confused.  But reading further, the description of playing the game is very well done, I have to hand it to the author.  It's just so abrupt, and out of the blue...

Did you watch Battlestar Galactica (the new one), and did you like the final episode of that?  Because they're sort of similar. 

Not really spoilers, but you might not want to read if you don't want to hear other people's opinions before watching yourself...

I had mostly given up on Lost a few years ago, and was only reading recaps or watching when nothing else was on.  I felt like I should at least give the finale a chance, but I had a feeling that it would end up the way it did.  My personal opinion about it...major, major cop out, that doesn't make sense at all to me.  And I was kind of insulted that they would not at least bring Michael and Walt back for a few minutes, even if they weren't part of the larger plot.

Michael and Walt were such huge red herrings.

I would hate for a ME movie. I've yet to see a single game-to-movie film that wasn't either horrible or just so-so. Talented as Bioware is, I don't expect them to change the trend if they do make one.
