I think it will be weird to say the least. We got so much invested in the character of Kaidan that it'll be odd to see him being portrayed by an actor who will, most likely, look nothing like him. Add to that the fact that Sbarge has such a typical voice and Kaidan will just be Kaidan in name.
Though I think Kaidan will be a minor background character with just a few minutes screentime and in all honesty I would rather NOT see him in a movie at all, for very selfish reasons

To me Kaidan is as he is now and that's where he'll stay but who knows, they may surprise us Well back to the pic I go, which is almost finished and far from the bloody stuff I expected it to be...it's just a roughed up Kaidan now...yummy.

2) my open office spellchecker will NOT work. i keep setting language as english, but it just undoes all my settings. so i didn't realize this for a while. i try to do a spell and grammar check and all, but apologies for mistakes in advance.

For the record, I really enjoyed the two stories you pulled, but I can see how they fit into the main story as a whole.  Just keep going!  I really enjoy your Shepard's banter with Kaidan.

As for typos, you can always go back and submit an updated version of a chapter, if you catch them after it's published.  I always spellcheck fanatically, read the chapter aloud (for stylistic errors) and only then do I post...but somehow, I still manage to let one or two mistakes sneak by.  Typos are sneaky buggers.

My main Shepard was originally a colonist / war hero, but I changed her background to spacer because I wanted to write about Shepard's relationship with her mother.  I have the story bouncing around in my head, I need to write it down soon.  Still working on some Mass Effect fanart that is taking me forever...I have the attention span of a goldfish when I get home from work in the evening, too much stuff to do and too little time to do it.

I did change Meghan's name, though, for fic purposes.  On the 360 it's Moira.  For the readers of The Rescue, you can see where that would get confusing.

I've read your guide, and frankly, you're to blame for this! 

I already have my six ME1 playthroughs, but I have want to redo one of them because I have want to change the origin and romance option.  So I can write a story about her.

This is such a great line :

One line that's just so Kaidan. *melts* Thanks for sharing, can't wait for more

And to stay on topic, one of the reason I would hate a movie is because they'd probably make Kaidan

ha ha ha! oh NO! seriously, i have done SO many playthroughs my husband thinks i'm crazy. but he takes it in stride for getting a geek wife. it's the trade off. lol
