yeah darn, i'd say he'd probably have an office somewhere on the citadel. however, after the attack,even though his mission was completed, i could see him wanting to stay back at Horizon in order to help the remaining colonists get back on their feet. even though Horizon did not want the alliance help before, after the attack they would need it and it would be irresponsible of the alliance to pull out completely when that colony would need them the most.

i think there should be influence system in ME3 like in NWN2, where if you treat a squaddie good enough (I.E kaiden) they will be less likely to die or turn on you in the end...

i'm not quite sure about it. we know Kaidan takes orders directly from Anderson and if he's the councilor,that is setting up Kaidan for possible spectre status. i don't know if bioware would do that though because it would take the uniqueness out of shepard's character.

I can't see it happening outside one of the ff'sI read. Kaidan isn't ruthless enough to get the job done no matter what. He's grown and developed, sure, but his reaction during some of the quests in ME1 speak against him being Spectre material.
Meh... just my thought

Thanks Night  At work now so all fics have to wait till I get home but they sure are something to look forward to. As well as coming up with a new Kaidan pic. Maybe the Kaidan/Garrus/Shepard scene suggested before but I think I want to do a non biotics pic first.
Anyway if people want to see something specific, feel free to suggest it even if it's Kaidan + random character you like

Hey Jho how about Joker and Kaidan. We always tend to think of them as best friends in out fics.  Sorry I have scenes of the crash site in my head, Kaidan opening the pod with Joker in it and finding no Shepard. -- sometimes the Fic - it's hard,

I'm of two minds about it.  Two Spectres covering the galaxy together, I like that - But Step has a point too, you would lose the uniqueness of Shepards Human Spectre status...  Hmmmmm hard one.

About Kaidan being a spectre...I'm still not at peace with the idea though I've gone over it more than once since ME2 was released. Part of me hates the idea and yet this 'new' Kaidan we see on Horizon does seem to fit the bill.
Just not sure how I would feel about it, would rather see him as Alliance special forces or something.

I was in the same type of mood last night, I seriously tempted to write on the page "And they lived happily ever after, the end." and leave it at that.  Just put the pen and paper down till it passes.

No no, fluff is good, just move ahead to a chapter that is full of anger and fighting and get it out of you system, then come back and write the fluff.  Kind of like make up sex,  Anger / then fluff

My muse is bouncing around wildly, sending me flashes of ideas without really being able to inspire. So going through Kaidan shots just to calm her down so I can start something....she's hopeless today.

I'd actually be pretty good with this, it would mean that the Council was still taking humanity seriously while Shepard was dead, and Kaidan would be a good candidate for the position.  He may be very reserved and quiet when he was working under Shepard, but he does fine on his own, and he's obviously used to being a leader by now.  I don't know if that's where the game is headed, but it would make sense, since he was reporting back to Anderson, and was apparently working on Horizon alone.

Because I can't picture Ashley being a Spectre at all.
