Yeah, that's possible...I mean, why would a mom sign a mail to her daughter thought lost with, "your mother, captain hannah". If my Shep could reply she would have to sign with "your daughter, commander Shepard" just for the hell of it lol

I wish the search feature on here worked for posts rather than thread titles.  I know there have been a pile of them posted on this thread but is was, I dunno, a couple hundred pages back or so.  I can remember a few that I've posted, including James Hunter.  Two of his make me think of the time between Horizon and whatever reunion may happen.  The first is {url=http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/s/Kick+It+Around/2vHCNO]Kick It Around[/url] and it plays in my head when I read Kaidan's e-mail.  The second is People Gonna Talk, which I pretty much think of as Shep's response to that message.

The Living Sisters' Ferris Wheel makes me want to write a Kaidan/Shep fic that includes their first date after they reunite just so that I can talk about her feeling crazy and wondering if things will finally work out between them.  It's not strictly story related but it's such a pretty song.

I don't know when Shepard calls her mother in ME one she tells Shepard "You're doing us proud" ... I took that to mean mom and dad....
