Like I said, masochistic.

good morning all
i see we are talking about difficulty settings, i usually play casual, on my latest ME1 game i bumped the setting up to normal. i'm ashamed to admit that i'm struggling with that. Kaidan's neural shock certainly is a huge help though.

I keep hearing about how people are having a problem with the quote button, but I haven't had that same issue happen to me yet. I'm guessing it has to do with the forum system hiccuping over the character support thread moves. Like sometimes it keeps expecting the threads to be on their old forum. It seems to be an issue people are having with the character support threads specifically.

Yeah, if you're having problems, look at the url of the page you're on, it should say http://social.biowar...rum/1/category/128/ rather than http://social.biowar...rum/1/category/105/ in the location. If it does say 105, close out of the page and open it again. It's a pain, but the forums are acting funky today.

I remember my first playthrough, I spent considerable time after Horizon randomly spitting out "He dumped me. I think that bastard dumped me. I can't believe he dumped me." While I was doing a completely different mission. Jacob's all talking about how stupid his dad is and I'm reply to the monitor "Oh yeah, well, I think Kaidan just dumped me. He sucks, too."
This went on until I got the email. I could actually hear Kaidan's voice while reading it, could actually see him being all reserved again trying to leave us both a way out. Jerk.
But I stopped thinking he dumped me after that.

Actually, hearing what I write in the voices of different characters helps me figure out if what I'm writing actually sounds like them or if I'm totally off the map, character-wise.

Good Evening Everyone!!! The Night Crew is back online!!
Yes Jo the first thing I did was watch your video...
It's grand!!
I will be here Lurking... Have to decided to write Walls (we are getting very close to the attack) or Panoplied (yeah she doesn't even know what she is looking for yet) what to do or where to go?
Confused? Yeah well it's me, what did you expect.
I play Horizon over and over just trying to make sense of it sometimes. Depending on my mood I am either pouty (he is yelling at me) or angry ( traitor, I am not traitor, he's a traitor.., the big meanie) or indignant (your the one that should be greatful to Cerberus, it if wasn't for them I would still be dead and so would you) yeah, like I said you never know.
Hope for a slow night at work please, I need a break from the ... well bad things...
Have a Great One!!!!

Good Morning everyone,
I´m sneaking around here quite a while and I have to write that I really enjoy this thread. And the fanfics a really fun to read.I always look forward for new chapters. The same with the videos. I really adore Kaidan´s character and I hope we get more of him in ME3. By the way, I´m german, so you have to exuse my english... :-))

Personally, I found Horizon to be the most uplifting part of the game. I would have liked a better variety of dialogue options, from a roleplaying perspective, but you can't win 'em all; it still left me fuzzy for the rest of the evening. (Then again, ME2 was hell for that particular Shepard; for her, rescuing Kaidan offered a full 30 seconds worth of "reaffirming who I am.")
I may have been reading too far into it, though - I thought the "be careful" echoed the "take care" from the first game nicely.
Tangential question: Kaidan's biotic implant. Where the heck is it? They're supposed to be installed in the central nervous system, right? And you're supposed to be able to swap the amps in and out willy nilly, right? But we see plenty of the back of Kaidan's head, so... where is it? (Or is he wearing some kind of fancy biotic wig?)
(And, uh... Hullo, there. Newbie, here. *wave*)
