P.S. What do the Kaidanites think of Sky from Jade Empire as a romance? I've recently started playing through it again as Wu the Lotus Blossom. Besides Kaidan and perhaps Alistair, I'd say he's my favorite female romance. The whole revenge storyline may be a little overdone but I can tolerate it here for some reason, perhaps because of Sky's cool and calm attitude, and it's not like he's too hung up about it anyway. He's a rogue at heart, and a VERY handsome one in my opinion.

I actually love Skye.

*Swoon* Skye is amazing, so well written, OK he has the whole 'dead family', deal *tut* that BioWare don't seem to be able let go of..... But still, he is awesome, imo. OK he is eye candy like Kaidan is, but I'm not shallow and it is the story that sweeps you along

I think Bioware writes great LI's for us, even though some might not be our taste, but they really need to let go of that whole tragic family drama background story. It's getting old.
Glad Kaidan doesn't have that.

@Night: Why thanks. Glad you think it's worth the wait. Someday I'll get it finished, really...

Sky's not my favorite LI, (though he's a very charming rogue indeed), but the Jade Empire game as a whole is swooningly romantic. And neat-o semi-Chinese. (I actually really like the female/Silk Fox romance... she's a rather adorable blend of aggressive and uncertain.)

Jade Empire was my first BioWare game... *sighs nostalgically* and it is so much fun! Especially for random Kang the Mad comments. Banana-shaped bombs! (Ok, that only makes sense if you've played, sorry.)

Also, the lack of a tragic dead family is a big part of why Kaidan's so awesome, yes. It does seem a tad repetitive. Doesn't anyone go off adventuring for the romance and justice of it, rather than to right some horribly family vengeance quest? *Looks at loyalty missions from ME2* Apparently not.

YES. bioware writes good LIs, for women as well as men, and it is a great part of the reason that i have been a faithful fangirl customer for years.

i ,too, like sky. not as much as kaidan, but... "Walking behind you affords the occasional moment of...distraction."

i am so close to finishing me1, i may just blast on through it to the end...or i may end up stopping every five seconds to alt+tab and write totally tragic fic.  in chapter 27 i tried to give ashley a last hurrah before the sadness. i always hated that i never got to have that contraband drink with her in game.

oh, ash... love you so. seriously, she reminds me of many of my bffs.

Was a fun game, some interesting and some completely predicitable plot twists.
